Her rodeo was a ls 4wd mine is a 2wd base model. I look at tires on other rodeos i come across in parking lots and all show signs of uneven wear. Also abs system is junk. Door fell off after very mild usage.soft metal hinge used in maufacturing.

Since day one we have had a problem with the steering shaking at 55mph and higher, after 48000 miles we decided to change the tires and see if that would fix our problem, guess what, didn't even change a thing,we are so upset at the fact that while driving our truck which we are leasing and thought of buying after we had finished the lease feels so unsafe that after the lease is over this will be the last isuzu we ever buy!!! along with the tire issue we have complained about an engine rattling noise when accelerating on hills and the dealer we took it to suggested we change fuel types and grades, the owners manual suggest the grade we had been using?? so why change, well we tried that too...you can guess didn't change a thing, still rattles!!!!!!!!we have had many other things go wrong with this truck since we bought it and have never had this many problems with a veh other than this isuzu..the latest thing we have been having trouble with is a thunk noise coming from the rear of the truck when letting off the brakes at a stop light and starting to pull away....thunk!! you hear it and feel the truck jolt!!...we had the rear axle fluid changed and transmission fluid aswell...ha ha...guess again...still there...our next option to the isuzu rodeo nightmare is to just park this thing and wait till the lease is up and let everyone we know and they know never to buy an isuzu rodeo unless the have money to throw again....next time we'll look at an american made car!!! I was in an accident six weeks after i purchased my montero.stuart lincoln-mercury, who is an authorized dealer, repaired my montero.my front end was supposed to be aligned.at 6400 miles, i had my tires rotated, and i saw that the tires on the passanger side were wearing as if they were out of alignment.i took my montero back to the shop to have it checked.i was told they aligned my front end while my vehicle was being repaired for the accident.i was told that mitisubishi uses cheap tires, and that is normal wear.i aso had tire kingdom, (a certified yokohama representitive) evaluate my tires.they said the front end must be out of alignment.again, i went back to mitsubishi, and again, i was told that there was nothing wrong with my alignment.i'm afraid, if this is true, i will have to be replacing my tires every 6400 to 10,000 miles.i was also told that they have seen this happen on these monteros.i believe, if my tires are going to wear like this, there has to be a more serious problem with my vehicle.please help me!( dot number: fbefm43287 tire size: 265/70r15 )

Yokohoma tire blew out, shreading tire/bending rim.

Tires are wearing badly on outside edge.i have kept tires inflated to 35 psi (their maximum limit).i first noticed this when i had the tire rotated-the rear tires were worn, the front ones were not.now that four months have elapsed since last rotation, i see the same wear pattern on the rear tires (which were the front tires prior to rotation).these same tires had normal wear prior to rotation.i had to alignment checked and was told by an independent tire shop that the alignment was well within tolerances-this was done july 28, 2001.fairway mazda does not consider this to be a warranty or defect issue since the brunt is on me to prove that i have faithfully kept tire pressure at 35 psi.i have a 1984 honda prelude that has three year old tires, has its tires rotated alot less frequently, and is aligned less frequently and its tires are wearing normally and evenly and i check the tire pressure as often or less than i do the mazda.based on this, i believe there to be a defect either in the tires or the van.thank you for your help. Belt runout with one tire. This may be related to recall - 00v113001. Mazda claims tires meet 94 load rating. However, the early failure of a tire leads me to think that the tires are too small and do not meet the 94 load rating. Also, the labels issued by mazda say to use a replacement tire that is a 205/65 15 94s and inflate it to 35 psi. This is wrong. Only 3 tires are available in that size with a load rating of 94. They all require you to inflate the tires to 44 psi or greater. This is a serious safety issue. Mazda is suggesting owners under-inflate the tires by 9 to 16 psi. The standard tire rating for a 205/65 15 is a 1992. (tiresize: 205/65 15)

I've had two of these tires fail due to separation.(in both cases, i purchased the same tire as a replacement for the failed tire.)is there a history of problems with this tire?has there been a recall?should i expect the manufacturer or the dealer to replace all four of these tires with a different brand or model?( dot number: tire size: p206/70r14 )

The two front tires failed after approximately 23,000 miles of wear.the left front was worn through one set of steel belts for approximately 1/5 of the tire circumference.the left front was worn through the treadfor approimately 1/5 of the tire circumeference.both areas of abnormal wear were on the right side of the tires when looking forward from the drivers seat. Digital photos are available fo the failed tires.the tires were balanced and the front end was realigned when the tires were installed.the vehicle is maintained in a good state of repair and is not subject to abuse.the failed tires were replaced on a pro-rated basis at the pint of purchase.the front end was also relaigned.unfortunately, i was not provided with any quantitative information on this front end alignment so can only conclude that no unusual or abnormal conditions existed.the orignal symptom was an increasing level of vehicle vibration primarily when decelerating through 30 mph.the following addtional information was located on the inside or blackwall side of the tires:85288 in raised numbers and 8h2298 in a recessed box with rounded corners. If you have any questions or require addtional information or copies of the photos of the failed tires, please contact me.best regards from the sunshine stae.s/s p>j> stager.( dot number: cc60 tire size: p215/70r15 )
