The contact owns a 2006 yamaha yzfr1. As soon as the vehicle accelerated, it began to lose power. When approaching a stop, the vehicle stalled. The failure recurred numerous times. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 17,000.
Yzf r1 stalls out when engine temperature in less than 170 degrees.while approaching first stop, shifting to neutral it stalls out regularly.extremely high idle (jumps from 1000 to 3000 rpm) when engine temperature exceeds 200 degrees. Replaced throttle position sensor, sub-wiring harness, adjusted the throttle bodies.still stalls out.
