Accelerating from stop into a left turn at an intersection the engine just died and we almost fell because a bump and brake like event occurred with the bike leaning over for the turn, this was very unsettling. Similar events had occurred previously after starting to accelerate from a stop or a near stop. They had occurred when driving in a straight line and the engine restarting right up after each incident. This last time it occurred with the bike leaning, with a little higher momentum because of a higher speed and it happened at the worst place to occur, at a busy intersection while in a bad angle. Then engine had issues restarting again so i had the bike picked up by a dealer near me and after inspection i was informed thatit was a bad fuel pump, and that there are a lot of post in the web of similar occurrences to other owners of yamaha majesty 400's.
