Engine stalling while moving.
I had a new 2005 majesty (yamaha) scooter. It would on occasion stall. I had it twice stall while merging onto the freeway. This almost resulted in a crash, but i was able to get to the shoulder and restart the engine. The dealer replaced the ecu and i have not any problems since.
Once engine was warmed up, vehicle stalled at stoplights twice and once when starting to move after a stop (when in an intersection).other times when stopped. Idle speed dropped below 1400, under which it stalls, and it was difficult to rev the engine to prevent stalling since there is no neutral gear, so revving more than slightly can make the vehicle move.
Engine stalls in traffic.
Vehicle stalls when attempting to accelerate normally (typically stalls in intersection).not frequent. Vehicle restarts normally. Occurs when engine is fully warmed up.
2005 yamaha majesty 400cc scooter stalling in traffic. Engine was warm, coming to a stop. Engine stalled around 5-10mph. This is the 5th time since new.condition very serious, as i was almost run over by traffic due to sudden loss of power/drive.
