Speedometer stops and become stuck at one speed wile riding.
The contact owns a 2007 yamaha xvs13.while driving at various speeds, the motor makes a very loud ticking sound.secondly, the vehicle has reduced power and gas mileage while driving.the contact took the vehicle to the dealer and they stated that a chain in the motor was failing, which was the cause of the loud noise.the vehicle is currently in the process of being repaired.the vin was unknown.the failure mileage was 500 and current mileage was 5,000.
Clutch is extremely noisy and intermittently difficult to get into and out of gear. Manufacturer ok'd replacement of my 2007 vstar 1300 tourjust about entire clutch box with the 2008 vstar 1300 tour clutch box. This has been a problem since purchase.
I purchased a motorcycle from harley-davidson and it had a car tire on the back of it and i was in an accident 3 days later where someone cut me off i did the brakes hard and turn it and lost control come to find out there's a back tire on the back of his that is a car tire and the same thing that bite that is the same thing it says that would happen with the car tire on the back of the motorcycle i feel like they should be responsible for my medical bills and the motorcycle so

Following problems encountered with 2007 yamaha vstar 1300 tourer xvs13ctwc1. Sticky throttle operation causes. Bike either doesn't move, or gets sudden surge2. Clunk heard from the bottom of the bike when going over bumps, potholes speed bumps.3. Noisy and temperamental clutch. At times intermittently the clutch doesn't engage. Must play with the clutch lever and rock the bike back and fourth before hearing it fall into gear. Clutch whines and moans. All issues encountered just about at the day of purchase.
While maneuvering my v-star 1300 tourer (xvs13ctw(c)) in a parking lot the throttle became stuck almost causing me to drop the motorcycle.the throttle becomes stuck when the motorcycle handle bars are turned hard to the right.i have no remedy for the situation.i took the motorcycle to the nearest yamaha shop.the complaint was verified.it also exists on a brand new floor model.the problem appears to be consistent on only the "tourer" model.
