Recall 01v094000, muffler bracket, consumer received recall letter on 27mar2001. Contacted dealer, who said parts were not available yet. They would contact consumer when parts came in. After numerous calls and visits to dealer, called to yamaha, consumer was only told not to ridevehicle and wait for parts.
Transmission locked up tossing me into the windshield at only 10 miles per hour. If i had been riding a passenger we would have been seriously hurt.
