Eight months ago consumer received nhtsa recall 03v309000 regarding the second/third pinion gear maybe incorrectly machined, whichcould cause abnormal wear that eventually results in a broken retainer. Dealership still does not havetheparts available to conductrecall repairs.
The c-clip inside transmission was improperly installedand it broke, which sheared the fourth gear.
Recall 03v309000concerning rear wheel lock up. Consumer received the recall for the motorcycle on 1/26/2004 and contacted the dealer for an appointment.dealer informed the consumer that parts were not available , and won't receive the parts for another eight weeks.
Consumer received recall 03v309000 concerning transmission failure.consumer contacted the dealer in the beginning of january. Dealer did not have the parts and did not know when the parts would be available.
The parts to perform the transmissionrecall 03v309000 repairs had not been available to the dealership for 4 months.the dealershipindicated it may be another 6 weeks before they receive parts.*sc
