In addition to the propane hose recall, winnebago should have done something at the same time about the systemic failure of the lpg regulator that is installed in these vehicles. Regulator failure seems to be very common as evidenced by the many complaints seen on the via owners yahoo web site. My regulator failed on the very first trip we made in our brand new 2015 via, causing much discomfort , inconvenience and worry about our safety during our feb & march 2016 winter trip in arizona, new mexico and several other states. We had no water heater, no furnace and no cooking stove and were forced to cut our trip short as none of the winnebago dealers we contacted at the time could work on our vehicle for at least two to three weeks. No dealer in the area was willing to expedite our request for service. Our selling eager did service and fix the problem within a month after we returned home.
