The contact owns a 2003 winnebago itasca sunova rv. While driving approximately 60 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. An electrical burning odor emitted inside the vehicle. Thee were no flames present. The vehicle failed to restart after numerous attempts. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where the igniton switch circuit board was replaced. In 2014, the ignition switch circuit board was replaced. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 53,000.
The contact owns a 2003 winnebago itasca sunova motor home. While he was driving 50 mph all four of the brakes locked and failed to stop the vehicle. The contact received workhorse recall#50901c regarding the brakes. The contact was out of town and he was advised to take the vehicle to the nearest dealer to have the brakes repaired. A workhorse representative authorized the dealer to repair the front brakes caliper but not the three additional brakes that failed. The mechanic cleaned, lubricated and put three of the old brakes back on the motor home; however, after a road test he agreed that the brakes were unsafe and should be replaced. Workhorse refused to pay for the repairs. The contact was responsible for paying $1176 for three of the brakes and he was denied reimbursement. The failure mileage was 34,030.
