Digital dash brightness can not be lowered far enough for nighttime driving

Freightliner chassis with optiview dash lights. The dash lights will not dim enough to safely drive at night. The brightness reduces your night vision. Have a safety recall but they do not have an active recall or fix. "campaign fl859-a optiview dash cluster brightness"

The cargo doors do not stay closed.i had 5 incidents on i75 between tampa and atlanta where we had to pull to the side of the interstate to close doors.our lives were endangered as well as traffic on either side of us.winnebago does not seem to be addressing this issue.the doors have been adjusted 2 times.we have added bungee cords in the interim to limit how wide the doors can open. *dtupdated 10/11/18

I read a complaint in the nhtsa files, about the loose steering of another 2019 winnebago forza 34t, on freightliner xcs chassis.at first i thought it was me getting used to the steering, but after driving this motorhome approximately 3000 miles,i realized that the coach is very unstable and the steering has too much play in it. It makes it very difficult to control and maintain it within the traffic lanes, specially at highway speeds of 60-65 mph. I am an excellent driver and have had extensive driver's training during my career in law enforcement, but driving this mh is a white knuckle challenge.i am constantly swaying within my lane and on occasion when it sways to the edge of the road the unit gets way out of control.manufacture and dealer have been contacted. It is frightening specially when there are so many other cars and trucks within proximity.i wonder how many other owners probably do not report this because they believe is probably driver inexperience. I hope that someone looks into this matter before there is a catastrophic event.*dt*dtconsumer did not take vehicle to dealership to have it serviced. Front tires feel as if it is floating and doesn't have a solid grip on the road.

There are many steering issues about the xcs freightliner chassisused in the winnebago diesel pushers.we have a brand new winnebago and the steering has so much play in it.we have had it to the dealer and freightliner twice and all they say is it is adjusted to specifications. This rig is not safe to derive on the highway.the amount of play in the wheel makes it difficult to keep the mh straight on a road. This is an accident just waiting to happen.we can swap out some components at a steep cost, but this is a brand new mh! we also have problems with the exterior compartment doors opening while traveling.*dt*dtconsumer stated he was the driver and wife was the one who filed the complaint. After the purchase of the motor while driving home consumer started to notice vehicle refused to stay in lane and continue to happen until tire pressure was corrected. Manufacturer and dealer has been contacted. Issue has been resolved to consumer's standards.

I have noticed that is difficult to keep the unit in a straight line between the lane lines.my wife has folled me on occasion and mentioned the same thing.it will sway enough to move over the center lane or off the road.i have driven other motor homes and tow vehicles that have handled much better.i checked into getting a safety sway bar but it already has a sway bar built in.when there are large vehicles and trucks on the road, i tend to have even less control.this is frightening and very nerviest wracking for both me and my wife.*dtvehicle has not been repaired by manufacture or dealer.

The contact owns 2019 winnebago forza. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the storage area door became unlatched. The rv was taken to south haven rv & marine located at (5485 pepper chase dr, southaven, ms 38671 662-393-9948) where the rv was repaired under nhtsa campaign number: 19v512000 (structure) however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 1,800.

We purchased a 2019 forza in september of 2019.when traveling down the road on the highway, the propane door swung open.we brought it in and the dealership said they fixed (12/09/2019) it happened again... Slow speed.next the compartment door carrying a lot of chairs etc and the propane door both opened on the highway at about 60 mph.we were pulled over by the state police and told to go to the next rest area and fix it.we had to crawl under it and put a cable on it.finally we had to duct tape the doors shut in order to feel safe.we have contacted winnebago and the dealership with detailed information.the dealer doesn't have a solution and won't help us.winnebago is still looking at the information and hasn't gotten back to us.

Compartment storage doors continue to come open while vehicle is in motion causing other vehicles to swerve, and lose contents in to traffic. Door mechanisms have been adjusted by the dealer as well as myself, but they continue to open without a bungee cord installed to prevent full opening. No recall service has been performed yet.

Doors come open while driving bad latches exposing all products under the bus to fly out and hit other vehicles while traveling, does not happen when the vehicle is stationary. Door for entry is wobbly, though this door does not come open it is not well attached.

The contact owns a 2019 winnebago forza rv. The contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 19v512000 (structure). While driving 55-60 mph for approximately five miles, the doors opened without warning. The vehicle was taken to tom schaeffer's camping and travel center (1236 pottsville pike, shoemakersville, pa 19555, (610) 562-3071), but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and did not assist. The failure mileage was approximately 2,300. The vin was invalid.

Nhtsa safety recall compartment latches, not keeping doors closed when traveling.fix is the replacement of the plastic latches with metal latches yet winnebago states they don't have any more metal latches.we are not using the 2019 forza rv at all because of the danger...the compartments have opened on hwy 80 nearly causing an accident. There are 766 forza motorhomes with this condition.your nhtsa recall notice is: 19v 512.correspondence with the dealer, la mesa rv and winnebago available upon request. Your action will be appreciated.

Storage compartment door opens while the vehicle is in motion, other drivers may swerve to avoid hitting the compartmentdoor, or objects falling from within, increasing the risk of a crash. Recall notice issued over a year ago with no fix offered by company. Recall nhtsa recall notice # 19v-152

Compartment storage door come open when driving.

1.safety recall - 19v-512 - basement storage compartment doors

Outside compartment doors open while in transit for no apparent reason driving at a variety of speeds straight on highways, while turning and straight roads in towns. Contacted winnebago who stated that there was a tsb on the issue, however, it took a long time for the tsb to reach the dealer who allegedly had no knowledge of the tsb in the earlier trips to the dealer for repair. Door seals were replaced with different size seals and then back to original seals. Dealer "notched" latches to get the doors to stay closed making the doors difficult to open and close and reported there is no other adjustment that can be made to make doors open/close easier with factory seals installed. Rv returned to dealer on 4/23/19 because of 5 flooded compartments.

In four of the five times i have driven this motorhome, while on the highway, one of the side compartment doors will open, without notice.i'm often flagged by other drivers letting me know that the compartment door is open. Luckythat there has been an accident. I'm concerned to drive it.
