The full wall slide on my motor homeretracted without any input.i pushed the extend button and it fully extended.after about 2 minutes it fully retracted without any human input.then after sitting with the system turned off for a few days, i turned it on and waited to see if it would retract.nothing happened so after waiting 20 minutes i pressed the retract button and nothing happened.after 3 minutes while leaning on the galley cabinet it again began to retract on its own.this slide is over 27 feet long and has the potential to cause bodily harm as it retracts into the main cabin.there is a warning label on the control panel stating that fact.to have this system malfunction in this manner really is dangerous and needs to be addressed to insure no one get hurt. Front brake caliper on right side began to lock up and drag during stop and go traffic. Once we cleared the heavy congestions caliper kept dragging causing brake pads and rotor to over heat and begin grabbing when brakes were applied. Left front heated up some but not to the same level of concern. Needed to stop at road side rest for 4 hrs to cool down enough to drive to a safe place. Was eventually informed a safety recall had been issued in june 2012 for this particular problem. Winnebago denies any responsibility claiming total fault that of ford motor co..... Updated 09/30/15
2 of 4 bolts securing rear anti-sway bar have worked loose. This allows the motor home to sway excessively during wind gust, or when being passed by larger trucks, which could result in lose of control of vehicle. It appears that this is a common problem on the f53 chassis, based on chassis forumcomments i found on a rv network, (irv2.net).
