On 18 aug 2008 at 2230 i was riding my scooter (150cc) on a 12 mile trip..5 miles from my destination i was traveling up a hill and the engine began to rev very high, followed by a loss of power transfer between the engine and the rear wheel.this scooter is less than 3 months old and this incident came with no warning.i know for a fact the manufacturer would fight this and willprolong as long as possible with any aid to me the consumer.if there would have been a car behind me i would have been killed.parts for my scooter are non-existent and no shop in my state will work on these.
