Dt*: the contact stated while driving various speeds in rainy weather, the windshield washer/wipers intermittently failed to work without warning.the vehicle was inspected by a dealer who was unable to duplicate the problem.the manufacturer was alerted.the vehicle was a 2006 western star, model 49ooex tractor trailer. Updated 1/19/2007 - on dec 21, 2006 the dealer received approval from the factory area rep to make repair after the rep was told of the report and one to the federal trade commission.
