Abs/esc/airbag lights lit when vehicle started. Problem persisted for two days after rain storm. Water had been observed in the passenger footwell, and was verified to be coming from a plugged sun roof drain. Overflowing drain may contribute to body rust, mildew/mold, or electrical problems as reported.

Sun roof exploded and shattered while driving on open road with no other cars around and not under any trees, etc so was not struck by anything but exploded and totally shattered.

The contact owns a 2017 volkswagen golf sportwagen. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, an abnormal clanking sound was coming from the rear end of the vehicle. The contact had taken the vehicle to a dealer where they diagnosed the vehicle with a rear coil spring fracture. Upon investigation, the contact discovered nhtsa campaign number: 19v188000 (suspension) which he linked to the failure. The contact called the dealer back and was informed that there were no recalls on the vehicle. The manufacturer had yet to be informed of the failure. The vehicle had yet to be repaired and remained in the possession of the dealer. The failure mileage was approximately 43,000.
I have 2017 volkswagen golf sportwagen.the rear axle coil spring part number 5qm 511 115 broke.it appears to have been recalled (see safety recall code 42j5).but my vin does now show any recall.please help.
Trim on the shifter bezel peels off in a way that presents a sharp blade like surface at the edge nearest the storage bin. This results in cuts to the user. The area is difficult to see and is often where users reach. Cars should not produce sharps of this nature in the cabin. My wife cut herself while driving. Vehicle in motion on a city street.
During yearly maintenance work, dealer stated on multi-point inspection that tires were inflated to 36 p.s. I. When i checked tire pressure with gauge, all 4 tires were at 20 p.s.i. There was no tpms light on the dash. The owners manual lists in bold letters, tpms. However, it is really indirect tpms. What is not mentioned in the owners manual, is that if all 4 tires are underinflated the same amount, the tpms light will never illuminate, ever. I think this fact should be mentioned in the owners manual. I think that most owners, myself included, think that if your tires are underinflated, the tpms light on the dash will illuminate.
Car loses power on highway even with gas pedal pressed down to floor board. Source of issue is unknown at this time.
On 1/31/2020 at 5:30 pm the rear window blew out while driving on a city street
While parked outdoors during heavy rainstorm, panoramic sunroof leaks through a pillar soaking headliner near visor on drivers side. Water also puddles on driver-side floor board and rear passenger-side floor board on the driver-side. Water can be heard sloshing in floor panel. Unable to defrost windows due to abnormal amount of moisture inside the vehicle.
