The contact owns a 2005 viking saga. While cranking the roof lift system, the roof dropped down and became stuck halfway. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired.the manufacturer was contacted and did not assist. The contact stated that the failure was similar to nhtsa campaign number: 05v364000 (equipment). There was no mileage. *dt *dtvin not available.

I have recently discovered there was a recall i was not made aware of on the lift system of this trailer. It is already documented here under number 05v364000 . However viking gives a story about who used to own the company and is now out of business etc, so now i'd have to pay for the repairs myself if i want the dangerous condition remedied.
