The contact owns a 2006 vanguard puma.the vehicle has a dometic refrigerator, model rm2652.the contact received a recall notice for nhtsa campaign id number 08e032000 (equipment) and took the vehicle to a local repair shop.upon inspection, the mechanic stated that the vehicle had previously been repaired; therefore, a secondary burner housing would not be installed for free.the manufacturer would not assist.the vehicle has not been repaired.the failure and current mileages were not applicable.updated 07/01/09 the repair shop stated the coils would have to be replaced before the burned could be repaired.
