Noted bolt holding the front brake rotor on failed and dropped out while driving. Investigation revealed the remaining 5 bolts were stretched out and deformed due to poor quality bolts. A failure would result in loss of braking ability and likely locking the front wheel causing injury.
Final drive failed locking the rear wheel. I was sent a dealer notice on ring gear bolt failure due to low grade bolts dated in 2010. The other ural of this vintage i know of in kansas city also experienced this problem in june of 2013 at around 12,000 km.
