U-haul trailer.consumer writes in regards to brake lines, rear axle, tires, hitch and wiring harness replacements. The consumer stated the tongue of the hitch was replaced. The consumer stated the u-haul was unsafe and it should not have been allowed on the road.u-haul made all of the repairs. However, after several months, the consumer only received reimbursement for extra expenses associated with the two day delay.
Cpsc:an aftermarket auxiliary lighting controller used to control lights on a towed trailer overheated to a point where it filled our vehicle with smoke.the consumer disconnected the wire that powered the device. Updated 08/18/2017
On 4/24/14 at aprox 1730hrs. As i pulled out a ramp from a u haul transport that i rented from a u haul dealer in richmond hill ga on us highway 17 my 9 year old son tried to held and in doing so the ramp slipped out of his hands and broke his toe. I took him to the er. And reported this to the u haul at daytona and to the u haul ins. Which denied the claim because this is not their fault. My question and concern is why is there no child proof locks on these ramps? they can be easily picked up and out, by any child. Fingers can also get crushed by these ramps and no child should have to go though any pain when a simple pin can be installed so that no child ever gets hurt again.## vin failed ## u haul auto transport ##
