The rectifier/regulator failed due to motorcycle heat. Therefore it did not charge the battery and caused it to stall in traffic several times. Not safe at all. The motorcycle stalled while riding thru a tunnel in traffic.
The blinker stems for both the right and left blinker broke and the blinkers dangle by their cables. This may make the signals un-seeable to on-coming traffic.there was a recall for this issue for the 2012 models but not for my vin series.
The contact owns a 2012 triumph street triple 675. While driving various speeds, the front right turn signal failed to operate without warning. The contact veered to the shoulder of the road and noticed that a bolt was fractured. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure recurred two times. The contact managed to hold the turn signal stems together in the interim. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that the vin was not included in nhtsa campaign number: 13v104000 (exterior lighting). The dealer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 5,900.
Transmission gearchange shaft broken at engine c clip. Left stranded in neutral.
