Randomly the air bag light comes on saying that their is an malfunction in one of the air bags. The dashboard light comes on more frequently when the weather is hot out side. Canā€™t remember the date when it started but itā€™s been happening a lot and toyota said their are no recalls or issues with that are known and i would need to pay which is costly.

The contact owns a 2014 toyota tundra. While driving 73 mph, all the side air bags inadvertently deployed without warning or impact. There were no injuries. The vehicle was taken to the dealer (pat lobb's toyota of mckinney, located at 3350 s central expy, mckinney, tx 75070; (214) 544-8696) who stated that nothing could be done. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted several times at 800-331-4331 and stated that they did not have any information and provided case number: 1706122994. The approximate failure mileage was 80,000.

Airbag light came on during a long hwy drive home, had vehicle checked out and pulled code b1863. Code was checked and everything checked good, so code was reset. It's been over a month and airbag light just came back on during a drive home. Taking it in to see if it's the sameode or a different one this time.

I was driving down a dirt road and i hit a pothole going around 5to8 mph and my air driver side airbags deployed. Both side curtains steering and below the wheel deployed

Received toyota urgent safety recall letter for defective side curtain-shield-airbags (csa) on 11/7/14.contacted my toyota dealership today (11/10/14) to schedule inspection and garnish replacement, as necessary.had to speak to four service reps before talking to [xxx], service dept. Mgr. He informed me they don't have replacement parts for this recall and that letters have gone out already simply to "beat" the press.no parts availability date was offered. They will inspect the vehicle but expect the customer to make a second trip to shop when replacement parts are actually available.classic example, in our opinion, how much these recalls have become a game between car manufacturers and oversight agencies.information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

Airbag malfunction warning light

I was driving approx 5-15 mph on a smooth, paved, slightly uphill road when my drivers side airbags deployed. There was no accident or bumps in the road. The front and back seat drivers side airbag deployed as well as the drivers seat airbag. The seat belt retractor also locked up. There is no damage to the vehicle on the outside what so ever. It has 57,xxx miles. I purchased it new and all service has been performed at the purchasing dealership. This is the first issue in what has been an extraordinaryvehicle up to this point.

The contact owns a 2014 toyota tundra. The contact stated that while driving approximately 65 mph, the lights on the instrumental panel became inoperable. The contact mentioned that the failure recurred nine times. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnosis. The technician was unable to locate the failure. The vehicle has not been repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 4,000.

Horn stopped working. Realized it will work only when steering wheel is turned. Fuse are good. Dangerous not having horn operable. Two close call accidents where i could not warn other driver.

The contact owns a 2014 toyota tundra. The contact stated that the instrument panel lights created a blinding glare during night driving and there was no way to adjust them. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who stated that the vehicle was operating as designed. The manufacturer was contacted about the failure. The failure mileage and vin was not available.

On 2 seperate occassions 02/25/2016, mice ate my wires in my truck.the first time i drove home from work, and could not shut the vehicle off. There was only 17,506 miles,i called toyota and they had me drive my truck there.there was a mouse nest inside the fuse box and they had chewed thru my wires.the 2nd time 09/12/2018 i was driving out of my driveway and the truck just stalled and i was unable to start it again. (30,892 miles)

I purchased a 2014 toyota tundra in november 2013. In march 2014, with 2,248 miles on the truck, i went to leave work and the truck would not start. It was towed to the dealer and they informed me that rodents had chewed through two wiring harnesses (e.g., #7 coil, temp sensor and the active brake booster), one of which was the main wire harness. I was lucky that the vehicle did not start. If the vehicle had been in operation (with mostly chewed through wiring) the wiring could have become loose and the vehicle may have lost steering, brakes, or other critically important safety functions may have ceased to work. The end result could have been a crash, fire, injury, or even death.using a soy based product to coat the wires is a design flaw which must be corrected. Although the intent was to utilize a more ecologically friendly insulation material, the design engineers omitted to consider the attractiveness of the ecologically friendly insulation material to rodents (e.g., squirrels, mice, and rabbits), the rodents are common in most residential areas in the united states, and the rodents could easily damage the wires.i have spoken with the dealer (stapp interstate toyota scion of frederick colorado) service manager, toyota customer experience center, toyota motor sales, u.s.a., inc. Customer relations administrator, and toyota motor sales regional customerfirst manager. Each time toyota is denying ownership of their defective wires and the safety-related need to correct them.

My 2014 toyota tundra (1794) has been experiencing intermittent/periodic loss of front headlights (at night while driving),instrument lighting and radio and navigation simultaneous rebooting, when turning on the left turn signal.in most occasions, everything restores once left turn signal automatically stops once turn is competed.at times i have been able to reproduce immediately after occurrence but most of the time i am not able to.this creates an immediate safety hazard when driving at night in areas not well lit as you experience immediate loss of ability to see pedestrians, objects and road when entering and going through the turn.upon taking it to the dealer (universal toyota - san antonio, tx), they stated they tried unsuccessfully to replicate the problem and the unsafe vehicle was returned to me.the same evening it was returned to me, the problem occurred again which i was able to record.in looking at online forums, this appears to happen to many toyota owners, all experiencing similar issues and all stating toyota dealer was not able to replicate and returned the unsafe vehicle.in addition to the radio and navigation rebooting as described above, the radio and navigation also reboots randomly and because the dealer is unable to replicate when i take it in, nothing gets fixed (have video of that as well).i was told they needed to verify i had the latest update (which i did) and then was told they have experienced this issue with people with iphones.this is also a known problem on many online forums with the same resolution by toyota - did nothing.consumers should not have to compromise their safety (lights going out at night) nor should they wait until warranties are expired to then have to spend a lot of money to correct well known similarproblems experienced by toyota owners,

Toyota needs to recall door lock systems on trucks. Namely door lock actuators. I had a 2012 toyota 4runner 2 actuators went out. Now a 2014 tundra drivers door actuator went bad at 6 months. Sure toyota will fix this if your in warranty. After that it's my $400-500 bill. It's widely know on the internet these actuators a faulty but toyota just keeps putting these on new trucks. If these are not working i could get car jacked. Can i get out if in an accident, as i have to remember to manually flip the lever to get out. In a parking lot is someone going to have ez access to my valuables? i am a licensed ohio concealed carry. Sometimes i firearm is locked in the truck. Is it really locked?

At 40,000 miles all 4 door locks stopped working.this is a safety issue and should be recalled.

In the course of cleaning my vehicle, i noticed corrosion on edge of door sill (emanating from under inside rubber door seal) of my 2014 toyota tundra on june 13, 2021. After removing the plastic scuff plate and rubber door seal, it was apparent that openings from the underside of the vehicle into the cabin are present from the design/manufacturing process - these opening are not sealed.the openings are not a result of corrosion but rather are associated with the geometry of the floor pan at the floor pan to rocker pinch weld - it is not a sealed surface. After removing the rubber seal i was able to look downward into the openings and see daylight from the underside of the cabin. Electrical cabling is immediately adjacent to these openings beneath the plastic scuff plate. It was apparent that the openings permit water and salt infiltration into the cabin, and would appear to be the primary cause of corrosion and build up of salt residues in the cabin and door sill area.my first impression was the condition that i observed was a manufacturing defect. On reflection many questions came to mind including: was the infiltration of water, salt and potentially exhaust through the openings in the floor pan going to have safety consequences - would the deterioration of the body structure as a result of corrosion have consequences in the event of a crash, or would the potential infiltration of exhaust gases affect the safety of cabin occupants?in following up the dealer and manufacturer over the last week, no resolution has been found . Owing to the age i was advised that there was no warranty coverage. The dealer reportedly inspected other tundras and the design/manufacturing conditions (ie. Opening in the floor pan) were the same as i had observed.it was only through my own initiative that i identified a manufacturer communication (nhtsa id 10173991) that shed some light on the issue.

The contact owns a 2014 toyota tundra. While attempting to unlock the doors with the door lock and the key remote, the front passenger door failed to unlock. The contact mentioned that the door needed to be unlocked manually from inside the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to toyota of kingsport (2525 e stone dr, kingsport, tn 37660 423-246-6611), but the mechanic failed to provide diagnostic testing. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 50,000.

Truck was in toyota shop in vermont for stalling of vehicle. Thought it was fuel pump due to recent recall - specifically asked if it could be that and was told no. They found mice nest in intake manifold, knock sensor was found to be chewed, and replaced. Once i received my vehicle, it continued to do the same thing after 2 days. Upon looking under the hood, found that the air intake filter was left off. I fixed that, and then the same issue starting occurring again. Had to have my vehicle towed to different shop (to trusted mechanic) they have found after replacing the battery and a mass air flow sensor, that it is truly in fact the fuel pump. They tested fuel pump and it's only putting out 20psi instead of 40.i called toyota, but they are claiming that only the newer toyotas are affected, but on the recall list it goes back to 2013 in different models.this seems similar to the issue subaru was having with their air bags.my toyota dealership, should not just be assuming that this couldn't be correlated with faulty fuel pump. My vehicles symptoms are the same as what the recall has stated happens. Before denying me anything, they should be willing to at least investigate and look at my vehicle. It's also suspicious to me that my vehicle started doing this about 2 weeks prior to a huge safety recall coming out in regards to fuel pumps.

The remote control does not lock the 2 back doors. Toyota says it is the actuators in the doors and want me to pay half the total cost which is $1000. How is this my fault?the dealer says they have had a lot of complaints

The contact owns a 2014 toyota tundra. While the vehicle was parked or in motion, all the locks in the vehicle became inoperable. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the door actuator and master lock failed and needed to be repaired. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was notified. The failure mileage was approximately 20,000.

Three different powerdoor locks stopped working. The drivers door lock, front passenger door lock and rear right passenger door lock do not open or close.

Vehicle accelerated when taking foot off gas (engine revved) and accelerated on its own causing vehicle to spin out during winter driving conditions and sent vehicle smashing into cement barrier. Vehicle has accelerated on its own since driving off lot in november, 2016. At first i thought this was an issue with the four wheel drive, but it's clearly an acceleration issue. I've also tested this and was able to make it nearly 1.5 miles from my home, mostly up hill without even stepping on the gas. In addition, my rear tires spin when in drive when on snow or ice when not engaging the gas pedal.engine revs while this happens, as it did during my collision. Toyota currently has vehicle and advised that this case was escalated to corporate due to circumstances.

The toyota 5.7l v8 engine found in toyota tundras, sequoias, siennas, land cruisers, and lexus lx570s suffer from cam shaft tower leakage, and it will most likely happen to anyone that owns one. It can happen anywhere from 1k miles to 100k miles, but it can damage the engine and other important parts and therefore should be recalled. It is also a safety issue, as it leaks in to the exhaust and could cause a fire. I own a 2014 tundra that has this issue and the dealer wants me to pay $3k to fix it!

Notice strong smell of oil in the cab, my kids complained about it so , i decided to go underneath and check what's going on and there is a oil leak on the drivers side coming from the engine , my vehicle has only 40k miles and i researched and find out a lot of reports about this issue.i'm afraid the oil dripping on the catalytic converter will catch on fire , not to mention the smell and carbon monoxide that we are breathing inside the cab. Especially my kids.

I purchased a 2014 toyota tundra on 02/04/14. I had driven the truck approximately 4 times and on 02/10/14, with 236 miles, i started the truck to go to work. I went back in my house, as the temperature was around 0 degrees fahrenheit and allowed the truck to run for several minutes. I returned to my truck and left for work. After driving for several miles, the check engine light came on and the truck entered "limp mode." i was not far from work so i continued to work, driving at a max speed of 40 mph. I contacted the dealer and advised them of the problem. The truck was subsequently towed back to the dealer. On 2/12/14 i picked the truck up from the dealer. I was told it was an aip (air injection pump) failure. I was also told there is no fix, and the problem could happen again in cold climate. After several phone calls to toyota customer care, i got nowhere. I was told there is a fix in the works, but for now i am left with a truck that may go into limp mode when it is cold out. Living in the north eastern united states, it is cold here from october to mid-march. If this truck were to suddenly enter limp mode when i am attempting to ascend a hill, this could present a safety issue to myself and other motorists, as i would severely be impeding the safe flow of traffic, going 10 mph uphill, without so much as a warning.i feel the sudden reduction in power could greatly reduce the operators ability to safely operate the truck, especial when negotiating traffic. It is extremely disheartening to me to knowing that i bought a $39,000 truck, touted as being among the most reliable and dependable, that may or may not run when the temperature falls..and after speaking with toyota, they know it is a problem..

Engine has developed cam tower oil leak that is dripping on the exhaust manifold.per toyota service center "potentially be a dangerous fire hazard.this is a well documented issue with the 5.7 engines toyota uses across multiple vehicle models.they have refused to accept responsibility for this design defect that is resulting in a safety hazard.

The contact owns a 2014 toyota tundra. The contact stated that while driving at 35 mph, there was an abnormal noise and the vehicle stalled without warning. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 3,400.

Toyota has a known problem with their 5.7 l v8 engine with the cam shaft towers leaking oil onto the exhaust which is a fire hazard. This is a result of them not applying enough sealant at the factory, which was confirmed to me by the toyota dealership.toyota refuses to cover the issues even though thousands of people are complaining about the issue online, class action suits have been opened and there is a petition online to get them to recall this issue with over 6,000 signatures. Mine personally has the oil leak and i can smell burning oil every time i get out of the vehicle. There is a large oil burn stain on the exhaust where the oil is falling. Apparently it's going to take a fire and someone to get hurt before toyota recognizes this issue and fixes it.

The contact owns a 2014 toyota tundra. While operating the vehicle, a fuel odor was present. The vehicle was taken to toyota of sanford (3321 hwy 87, south sanford, nc 27332) where it was diagnosed that the fuel lines failed due to material deterioration, which caused fuel to leak onto and around the engine block and the exhaust manifold. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and provided case number: 190927-1657. The failure mileage was unknown.*dt

I was carrying an old battery on the truck bed and the battery leaks so the fluid spilled over my fuel tank and burn/corrode the vacuum and gas lines. I think the fuel tank should be protected with an upper skill plate because is a truck and you always carry different things and this is kind of expose or drain holes of the bed are not located properly, so they wanna charge me 2k dls for something that is a bad design problem.

Got a pretty major fuel leak leaking out of left side behind drivers door coming out of the frame rail.has around 120,000 miles.took it to the dealer and they said it's the fuel pump computer, no warranty or tsb.seems like this should be warrantable because it's safety related.truck could have caught fire if somebody flipped a cigarette under it in traffic.it's a steady drip about one drip per second while the truck is running.after you shut it off, the leak stops after a couple minutes as it depressurizes.

The contact owns a 2014 toyota tundra. When the key was removed from the ignition switch, the gear shifter moved out of gear and caused the vehicle to roll away. In addition, whendepressing the brake pedal, the gear shifter failed. The failure recurred numerous times. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that there was liquid on the gear shifter, which caused the failure. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 35,000.

When you first start the vehicle and put it in drive, within 20 seconds at any speed, a loud ping/metal hitting metal sound comes from the rear gear differential box. It happens everytime at any takeoff speed. Toyota and my dealer do not believe there is a problem.

2014 toyota tundra with 180,000 miles. The gear shifter will not come out of park at times when brake is pressed. I have gotten in the truck many times to leave my house and when i press the brake to take it out of park it will not unlock the shifter. I have to press and release the brake a few times before the shifter is unlocked.

The above vehicle was purchased on 07/06/2014 at about 2100 hours.the vehicle was driven home, which was approximately five miles away.the vehicle was parked in a residential driveway and on 07/07/2014 returned to the vehicle and saw that there was a pool of fluid under the parked vehicle. Upon examination i found that the vehicle had leaked a large amount of transmission fluid.the dealer was contacted and the vehicle was towed to the dealership (frontier toyota valencia ca.) i was contacted later that same day and advised that the vehicle had a faulty transmission seal which allowed the transmission fluid to leak from the vehicle. They also advised that the transmission had lost ten ounces of transmission fluid. My concern is that if the vehicle had been driven any distance with the above described leak the transmission would have leaked out all of the transmission fluid causing the potential for transmission failure, loss of control from leaking fluids on tires or possible fire from overheated fluids on hot exhaust and or engine parts/.

January, 2018, drivers seat belt sets off alarm when driving. Passengers side seat belt wint connect at all. This started sunday, 1/13/19.

The contact owns a 2014 toyota tundra. The contact stated that the front driver's side seat overheated. The failure was recurring and caused the leather to peel from the seat. As a result, the contact was no longer able to use the heated seat function. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer, who inspected the vehicle but was not able to diagnose the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 7,000.

Driver and passenger seat side control panel disengage from the seat, in which creates an unreasonable safety risk getting in and out of the vehicle. The seats has worn tremendously.

This is probably not a safety issue as of yet but could turn into one. I bought a new tundra 2014 in jan. 2014 from community toyota in baytown, texas. The very first time i get in the truck to come home the front drivers seat wouldn't move forward for me. The salesman got the service people to look at it and he fooled with it till it started to move. After bringing the truck home i had trouble getting the seat to move again. My husband took the truck back to the dealership. The service man said that it looked normal to him. The service manager came out and said that they had me a new seat ordered and would notify us when it came in. That was in feb.2014. In may they said it would be here around the 27th. On june 20th i called and they said it was there. We took it down to the dealer at 9 am and they said it would take about 5 hours. When we came back my husband went out to test the seat and it still didn't move freely. The service manager said that this normal for this truck. I called the customer relations man the next morning. He said that this is a safety feature on these trucks to keep the driver from being thrown into the steering wheel. I thought that that was what seat belts were for? he said that he would go down to the dealership and check out some of the trucks there but i haven't heard anything from him and that was on june 24th. He also said that the seat handle bar on the tundra had to be grabbed right in the middle of the bar. That this is the only way to get it to move. My husband is not disabled so he can grab it in the middle and it still will not work. Because of my disability i can't reach between my legs to grab the bar there. I walk with a cane and am having a hip replacement soon. He said that he would check out our truck personally the next time we where in town. We live 2 hours away. I would like to know if anyone else is having this trouble.

During driving car when you press brake pedals power steering start vibrating ,very unsafe to driveand that happening all the time when you press brake pedals. Toyota schaumburg refuse to fix under factory warranty car has 22k

Anti lock brakes did not let me stop when reversing down hill because of loose gravel.

The parking brake when fully applied, began failing to hold the vehicle in place a week after purchase. The parking brake has been adjusted twice by the dealer. The parking brake petal while fully pressed to the floor, does not appear strong enough to hold the vehicle in place, especially when parked on a hill. The dealer tried to adjust the parking brake tighter during a warranty repair on 7/25/2015 . As a result, the brakes locked up while driving away from the dealership. The parking brake was readjusted again by the dealership that day to it's normal position. The parking brake continues to fail to hold the vehicle in place.

The brake pedal will 'go to the floor' under firm foot pressure at extended stop lights or when in slow stop and go traffic. After about a minute of being stopped the pedal will 'give' and slowly sink to the floor.

Three studs or lugs broke off my right front wheel while driving, causing it to completely break off and damage the right front part of my truck. Thankfully i wasn't driving very fast or it would of been much worse. I've taken it to the shop and had it repaired. The mechanics say this should not have happened. I'm afraid my other wheels my do this as well. My truck is a 2014 toyota tundra plat 4x4

The steering wheel wood portion is starting to crack in 2 different places.asked toyota services if they had ever seen one cracking.answer was no.only remedy is change the steering wheel ($$)

Driving at 60 mph the vehicle started to shake.felt wobbly .the kind of feeling when driving on flat tires.did not stop even when i slowed down had to pull over to shoulder.wobbling intensified as i drove. Problem occurred again on january 1st (three times in one night) and on january 25th 2015. I have complained to toyota.case number is [xxx].their response is they have no way of letting me know if others have complained about this problem before or if they have known about the problem.there are quite a few references to that problem online dating way back as 2007.

Horn stopped working. Realized it will work only when steering wheel is turned. Fuse are good. Dangerous not having horn operable. Two close call accidents where i could not warn other driver.

Gloss coating on steering wheel has cracked in multiple areas, handling of the vehicle has become uncomfortable. Most recent crack is about 2mm wide and goes all around the wooden gloss part of the steering wheel and i feel that if this continues my steering wheel will become unsafe to drive due to the unevenness and possibly cause some pieces to fall off my steering wheel.

2014 tundra 1794 edition purchased new in may 2014 has approximately 9400 miles.the dashboard is warped & sinking along length of windshield.problem appears to be getting worse over time.manufacturer states this defect is within specification when compared to other similar vehicles.the dashboard has sank so much that there is an imprint of the passenger side airbag in dashboard that is visible due to warping & sagging of dashboard.i am concerned it may affect the performance of the passenger side airbag if the sinking and warping of the dashboard were to continue.toyota had past issues with warped dashboards on earlier models of tundra and had issued tsb's (tsb-0391-09-improved a-pillar garnish) in response.it appears this defect has not been fully addressed as they state other new tundra's they inspected on dealership lot have the same warped & sinking dashboard.additionally, a plastic part on steering wheel is loose when pressure is applied affecting steering and operation of vehicle.the manufacturer (toyota) states there is no fix for the vehicle and has suggested i pursue arbitration under lemon law for the vehicle.at this stage, all i am asking for is for them to fix the problem and the manufacturer (toyota) refuses to do so despite knowing full well there is a history of this problem with the vehicle.

Toyota - defective plastic materials used: the driver side mirror and wheel well melted from the sun while parked in my driveway.toyota failed to use quality plastic material without uv protection and a higher enough melting threshold, which resulted in the driver side mirror and wheel flair melting from heat of sun.under no circumstance, should sun heat melt a car part which should be designed to withstand sun heat outside.i contacted toyota north america regarding this matter.i informed toyota na that i purchased the truck in september 2017 and that the drivers side mirror and wheel flair melted in my driveway.the company offered to pay $200 for an $850 repair.i request full replacement and repair of my toyota tundra 2014, plus damages of $2,400 due to the time from work that was required to address this matter with the dealer and toyota na.

The grill cowling has plastic pins that attach to hood. When i purchased my truck new and was on my way home i noticed a very small dent on the top side of my bed.i decided not to worry about it as it was barely visible nor did i want somebody to do bodywork to fix it.longevity issues with after the fact body and paint work.unfortunately as time went on and i was using my truck it started developing more dents on the top side of my bed.i now have 5 or more on each side.i have never hit the side of my bed with anything.besides, all the dents are the same in appearance.toyota says its my problem not theirs as it appears to be of an outside influence.i have seen other vehicles with the same problems as mine.just not as bad.the truck is supposed to handle 1300 to 1800 lbs in the bed but when i load it with approximately 1,000 lbs it bottoms out over speed bumps.i think this is where the issues are coming from.the bed is flexing due to bad engineering and materials and causing ripples in the bed.its unfortunate that i have to drive a brand new vehicle with dents and all they can say is its not there problem. I sent a certified letter to them dated march 18.thanks for your help

I have complained to toyota.case number is [xxx].their response is they have no way of letting me know if others have complained about this problem before or if they have known about the problem.there are quite a few references to that problem online dating way back as 2007.

While driving on the highway my check engine light and a notification for no traction control came on. The vehicle slowed down and would not allow me to go over 50mph, and struggled to go up hills. I took my vehicle to the dealer and they told me it's the air injection valves. I did some research on the parts and found that it is common for them to go bad, and that toyota has put out a memo stating that it would be a covered repair for vehicles up to the 2010 models with up to 150,000 miles. In my research i found that it still continues to be an issue even in later models. I have filed a complaint with toyota that if they know this is a consistent issue that they should recall the part. Since i was on the highway with limited power i had to use my hazard lights until i was able to get to a safe location.

At 40,000 miles all 4 door locks stopped working.this is a safety issue and should be recalled.

Apple iphone will not allow bluetooth to function with toyota entune system.system continues to reboot until i turn off bluetooth function. I must use my phone with the handset which is not my safest option.this is a well-known problem and neither apple nor toyota will fix it.

The remote control does not lock the 2 back doors. Toyota says it is the actuators in the doors and want me to pay half the total cost which is $1000. How is this my fault?the dealer says they have had a lot of complaints

The is an a/c and heater issue or how its venting. I'll have the settings to point the the floor yet its still coming out of the front vents. Its just annoying.also the back seat doesn't get the correct temperatures while the front seats are either freezing or burning up, depending on the season.

I have a 2014 toyota tundra crewmaxwith roll up ans down back window . Was at a stop light in the turning lane . Was talking to my friend in the front seat and out of nowhere the rear window exploded . Window was all the way up . Was only one other car next to us . Bed of the truck was empty and nothing to hit it . Just exploded out of know where . Glass made it all the way to the front floorboard . No reason for this to happen . Specially for a new truck . Bought with 3 miles on it . And for $43,000. This shouldn't happen . Called dealership where i got truck and they tried selling me new glass . Not replacing under warranty . Not to happy with the outcome so far .

Iphone x max will not pair with the entune system making it hazardous and illegal to respond to phone calls while in the truck.toyota has replaced the radio head unit twice and spent over a year trying to fix.neither apple or toyota know how to solve the problem.the in truck phone system fails while moving or sitting still. Thousands of toyota customers are experiencing this problem

I was on the highway (not using cruise control) when my check engine light came on and the throttle control changed. The truck would randomly throttle without pushing on the pedal. Additionally, if i put the pedal down the truck couldn't get beyond 60mph going up a hill.however, going down hills the truck was throttling on its own as if it were trying to attain a speed of 70mph even though the cruise control wasn't on or even functioning (at this point i was not on the highway). If i braked the throttling would stop; however, when releasing the brake pedal the truck would continue to throttle. When i pulled into my driveway the truck once again was randomly throttling. I disengaged the battery thinking that possibly rebooting the trucks computer would help. I started the truck in park and immediately the rpms increased as if someone had there foot fully decompressing the pedal.i know toyota had recalls on their vehicles but apparantly not on the 2014 tundra model. This is a very unsafe truck issue that luckily occurred in a rural setting. I let the truck sit for two days and drove the truck around the 4 mile block. Initially the truck drove normal for the first two miles. By mile 3 it was uncontrollably throttling. The throttling did not stop this time even when holding down the brakes but luckily the brakes are at least good enough to slow the vehicle down.

The contact owns a 2014 toyota tundra. While the vehicle was idling at an intersection with the brake pedal depressed, it accelerated without warning. The contact placed the vehicle in neutral and then in park. When the vehicle was turned off and restarted, the failure recurred. The contact installed a new battery, but the failure recurred. The dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact to bring the vehicle in for diagnostic testing. The failure mileage was 28,000.

I recently purchased a 2014 toyota tundra, and the rear view mirror is not large enough to provide a view of the entire rear window, causingreduced visibility and therefore increasing the likelihood of accidents.i believe this is a serious safety hazard.i contacted toyota and their action is put my remarks on file.i believe this is a design flaw and the vehicles should be recalled and fitted with a mirror that is large enough to provide a view of the entire rear window.the mirror appears to be the same size as a standard car mirror. Are there no standards that regulate the size of mirrors in relation to the width of the rear window?

When backing out of gas station, passenger side tire fell off completely from rotor. On the rotor chrome like pieces of lug nut retained on. Remaining lug-nuts where inside tire well. Three factory installed rims developed cracks requiring all rims to be replaced.toyota determined the cracks were caused by me.i strongly disagree and believe the cracks represent a safety problem for all existing rims still on the road today.
