I recently bought a 2015 toyota tacoma and straight off the back i noticed that the tired were not in good condition under specific circumstances. If there were some loose dirt or gravel on the road the tire would not grip causing me to slip for a split second. Ignoring the warning signs of my split second slips here and there i decided to go out in the rain with 4 wheel drive on. I felt confident because i have had many tacoma's before and i trust toyota. Low and behold i hydroplaned on an empty highway and crashed into the wall at 60 mph completely totaling my truck. Baffled by the incident i recounted my steps to see if i was at fault. Two hands on the wheel, gps on my phone, no car in sight and i'm the only one on the road. A little puddle on the highway almost cost me my life. I still love toyota and i bought a 2016 tacoma but i will say do not trust the 2015 stock tacoma tires because it has no grip.

While traveling approximately 60 mph, i collided into a large free range animal in the middle of the road. Upon impact none of my airbags deployed and as a result i suffered life threatening injuries, was flown to the nearest hospital and had open heart surgery to repair my aorta which ruptured upon impact. Due to complications from the surgery i had to undergo a second major surgery in may of 2019, and am currently recovering. My passengers only suffered minor injuries.

Substantial frontal impact without air bag deployment or seatbeltpre-tensioners being activated. T- bone accident with front impact to my tacoma at 45 mph highway speed impacting the rear axle of a full sized pick-up.

There are no open recalls, but i would like to know if we have takata airbags in our truck,

Takata recall -- i was involved in a front end auto collision yesterday, i was going on speeds in excess of 45mph when i struck a car that had cut me off, my car became completely inoperable. The airbags had not deployed which makes me feel there is a safety issue involved with the vehicle. The vehicle i had struck was going roughly 10mph. The framing of my car is completely bend and most of the force was excreted towards the engine on the passenger side of the my 2015 tacoma.

I was driving down the interstate going about 75 mph and my driver side and rear passenger side curtain airbags deployed spontaneously. I didn't hit anyone or anything. It just deployed for no reason and causing me to almost crash into nearby cars on the highway. There were no alarm indicators stating that i had any issues or that i needed to service my tacoma. When the airbags deployed i was able to keep the tacoma stable and i noticed that i started losing speed even when i had my foot on the gas. I eventually coasted to the shoulder of the highway before coming to a dead stop.

The contact owns a 2015 toyota tacoma. While driving approximately 65 mph, the contact rear ended the preceding vehicle. All the frontal and side air bags deployed and there were no injuries. A police report was filed. The other vehicle was drivable, but the contact's vehicle had to be towed. The vehicle was destroyed. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 5,000.

Water leaking into passenger compartment - soaking electrical wire bundle, seat and floor; dripped at right passenger seat grab handle in rain or wet snow vehiclestationary or moving

Our 2015 toyota tacoma prerunner's steering locked up just as though the ignition was turned off, at 45 mph, causing the truck to veer left into on coming traffic, causing a head on collusion with a semi truck. Toyota inspected the truck after accident and said they could not find any problems, and that ignition key turned and steering worked normally, but there was no drivers wheel, rim, linkage, or fender. Toyota's legal department told me that they were not going to look into this anymore. This was a good 2 lane road in good weather at 1 pm in the afternoon. My 28 year old step son was driving and has head, neck and back injuries due to this problem and toyota does not seem to care about this at this point 12/01/2016.

My truck was recently damaged from rodents, they built a nest by engine and chewed wires. After further research i found that auto manufacturers in order to go green are using soy based products on wires instead of petroleum. They are using sugar in there plastics. Rice husks in there interiors. All this stuff attracts rodents. This is unacceptable! my dealership said they are seeing at least 2 rodent damaged vehicles a week.my truck is driven daily and sits no longer than 8 hours. The total damage on a brand new truck with extended warranty was 2700 out of pocket, this damage was no covered by warranty.

Electrical wiring was eaten by some kind of rodent - twice!dash panel lights came on, so i took it to the dealer since it was new.dealer reported that the electrical wiring had been eaten by some kind of rodent.the repair was make ($500.53 discounted), and the first night the truck was back in front of the house - it happened again.we live in the city with many vehicles parted in the street.i have lived in the same house for over 27 years and have always had a vehicle parked in my drive way with no rodent problem.why now?why this vehicle?according to a dealer service person (and collaborated on-line), car manufacturers (toyota included) are trying to become more "green" and have begun using more peanut and soy products in the manufacturing of its wire insulation and rubber hoses - thus attracting animals.also, the design of this v6 engine has a space just under the engine cover that small animals fine inviting and warm.the animal go into this space and naught on the wires that are present.my local dealer covered the second repair, and was great to work with.however, there seems to be a design/manufacturing issue that is out of the control of the dealer.my solution = fill the space with chicken wire.so far. So good.

Rodents ate through the soy based wire insulation in engine compartment

On multiple occasions the abs system appears to be overly sensitive, causing extremely low braking power. This is beyond the normal characteristics of abs systems in other cars. The system virtually eliminates any ability to slow or stop the vehicle. Even when a single wheel has lost traction, all wheels will be pulsed to the point of no braking power. Many others with several model years of trucks have the same issues. Some have disabled the system and experienced better braking. Even though steering control may be improved, in this truck, stopping power has been virtually eliminated.

The contact owns a 2015 toyota tacoma. The contact stated that while driving around corners at various speeds, the vehicle's wheels start to tremble causing the driver to lose stability. The contact stated that a red sensor warning light appeared on the vehicle simultaneously as the failure occurred. The contact took the vehicle to frontier toyota (23621 creekside rd, valencia, ca 91355) where he was informed that the matter was normal vehicle operation.the contact also stated that while driving at 45 mph, the vehicle's fuel pump failed to operate without warning. The contact took the vehicle to an independent mechanic where the vehicle wasinspected and the vehicle's stability control replaced. The manufacturer had not been notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 69,000.

On three different occasions i was stationary with the gear shift in drive and my foot firmly on the break, when the rpm's suddenly revel up to over 5000 rpm and the truck trying to lurch forward. I had to ram the gear shift into neutral to get the rpm's to drop down. The last time it happened at the bank parking lot. I came to a complete stop to let a woman cross in front of me to her car. All of the sudden the engine revs way up with me trying to hold the truck back as it was lurching forward. She thought i was trying to run over her. I don't know who was more scared, her or me. I jammed it into neutral and after a few more seconds the revs dropped down to idle again. I'm taking it to modesto toyota tomorrow to get it looked at on august the 6th. The truck only has 63000 miles on it. The other two times it happened were in my driveway and at my storage unit. Both times i was stationary as well, truck in drive, foot on break. Very dangerous!

I was driving straight away going up a slight hill on the hwy excelling and pressing the gas pedal when the power suddenly dropped and went down to 20 mph while i pressed the gas pedal even more the engine sounded like it was revving but the speed stayed at 20 mph or less.- the check engine light, vsc & trac lights all came on. I immediately pulled over and decided to turn around and not continue up the hill. While driving on the straight away (still on the hwy) the vehicle's speed improved a little but only in spurts- going upwards to 40 mph then falling again to 20 mph at least 3 times in the 20 minute drive home. The vehicle sounded and felt like it was straining for power. All of the fluids, oils etc.. Was filled and in good standings- this vehicle is only 6 months old and has 4434 miles on it. I took the vehicle to the toyota dealer the very next day and they found that this was a manufacturing problem. The codes p2445 and p2441 was found faulty and was replaced- in the report it was stated that the car is down, considered unsafe to drive because the vehicle may go into limp mode for this condition while driving. I am submitting a portion of the report with my personal information covered.

Secondary air injection system malfunctioned at under 8k miles on a 2015 brand new truck.did some research and this part seems to fail pretty early and just outside the 3year/36mos coverage and be quite costly to fix or replace.toyota currently is not doing anything about it on tacomas like they did with the tundras but they are aware that this part is prone to failure.

The contact owns a 2015 toyota tacoma. The contact stated that while driving at 40 mph, the accelerator pedal was depressed and the engine stalled without warning. The failure was persistent. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the wiring failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 5,000. The vin was not available.

Secondary air injection system (sais) - one way flapper below injector valve sticks either open/closed, throws off whole sais and sets car in limp mode with corresponding check engine light code.

Emissions air pump failed with 48000 miles. Air pump not covered by emissions warranty in ohio. Previous years(2012) covered for 10 years 100000 miles.

I just bought this toyota tacoma prerunner trd off road trim, at longo toyota, el monte , ca and i am very dissatisfied with the quality of product i bought at that dealership i should have looked around or gone to where i always go cerritos auto square. The trucks rear lift gate only closes from the right side and the left side remains opens i need to slam it shut so it can completely close, but then when i open it the lift gate opens with force from the left side it's pops open it doesn't open like it should. Also the front toyota emblem on the grill is loose not tight like it should be and to finalize this complaint the space between the hood and chrome piece that goes around the font grill it is uneven, this is disappointing. I went from a honda to a toyota but it's not starting out well. My main concern is the rear lift gate that won't close from the left side maybe the lift gate is crooked.

My stepson was pulling into the driveway, he stopped, then the toyota tacoma lunged forward crashing into our garage. I had noticed since leasing the truck in july of 2015, that once in a while i would come to a stop and it felt like i just got rear ended but nobody was behind me.

I purchased the vehicle new & had the dealer install the optional toyota trd supercharger at approximately 5k miles. At approximately 10k+ miles, i started to notice while at cruising speed (30-50mph) if i needed rapid acceleration to pass or enter the highway, the tachometer would show the engine revving but the vehicle will not accelerate. The vehicle is used for commuting 100 mi daily (highway)the toyota dealer confirmed the problem / removed the transmission to access the clutch & found no abnormal wear or defect. Toyota now states because i modified the vehicle with the toyota optional trd dealer installed supercharger, there is no warranty & i have to pay for the repair.see the following link: http://www.trdusa.com/parts-detail.html?p=ptr29-35120&years=2015&models=tacoma&categories=all&subcategories=all: warranty is the same as other trd powertrain components: 12 months or 12,000 miles or the balance of the 5 year/60,000 new car powertrain warranty, whichever is greater, when installed by an authorized toyota dealer. Superchargers installed by anyone other than an authorized toyota dealer are warranted for 12 months or 12,000 miles. :the dealer feels the oem clutch/pressure plate is not sufficient to support the extra power & replacing with new oem parts will not resolve the issue but upgrading to heavy duty aftermarket parts is recommended. The vehicle was drivable but potentially dangerous when rapid acceleration is needed.the "right" thing for toyota to do would cover 100% of the labor & 50% of the aftermarket part upgrade since toyota doesn't offer a trd upgrade. It seems toyota denies all claims related to repairs after a supercharger install.

U joint broke while driving

Truck is only a year old and multiple times now the transmission has failed to engage. Each time it's in drive, and on a slope or hill and when brake pedal is released with the truck in drive it starts clicking and grinding and rolls backwards, unable to engage and continue on. Truck requires that you put it into park and back into drive before you can proceed. Last time this occurred i nearly hit a child in the street as it rolled backwards and would not engage even though it was still in drive. It's been into the shop multiple times now and i am told there is nothing they could do and i have emailed toyota. Nobody wants to help and this issue continues. This is a serious safety issue when transmission will not engage and starts rolling backward before you even realize what is happening or have a chance to react. Even if there is no hill-holding option with this transmission, the truck should not click and grind in gear once you put foot on the gas pedal to attempt to continue the drive forward. This is serious and needs investigation!!!!!!!! this is the 2nd complaint with you and there have been multiple attempts to work with toyota to no avail. Different answer each time i take it in.

The contact owns a 2015 toyota tacoma. While driving at 15 mph during cold weather, the clutch and accelerator pedals were depressed but the clutch remained depressed when released. The contact stated that after six seconds, the clutch released independently and the rear of vehicle veered to the right. The vehicle was taken to a dealer. The technician was unable to diagnose or repair the vehicle. The failure recurred on numerous occasions. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 500.updated 5/15/15updated 9/16/2015

My trucks headrests are tilted so far forward that it causes significant pain in my neck. They came this way from the factory. I have to turn the headrest around to relieve the pain, which then exposes me to an even higher risk of whiplash. You idiots at nhtsa who changed the regulations so that car manufacturers had to build them this way need to repeal the law.

I purchased a new toyota tacoma in january 2015. On march 28th 2015 my son and i each left our unplugged phone charging cables laying across the front of our factory upgraded all weather seats. The sun was directly shining on the front seats from 1 to 5 p.m. Both seats melted around where the unplugged cords laid.i have written several letters to toyota and the distributor asking for a simple replacement of the original seats that were on the original invoice at the time of purchase.my concerns include why did these three month old seats fail? are these seats safe and have they passed all the new car safety test? who manufactured these seats?who is responsibleto inspect if the material is fire retardant? when i leave a plastic grocery bag on the seat for a 5 minute ride home the bags melt into the seats to the point thatwhen i peel them off the ink writing from the bag is left on the seat. I am very concerned that if in an accident these seats can be hazardous to the occupants.the arbitration letterfrom toyota national dispute settlement indicated that they did not have jurisdiction on this nonconformist item. This is the only written communication i have form the three letters i have written to toyota. Toyota representatives verbally assure me that the seats have met all federal and dot requirementsbut refuse to put this information in writing. They also refuse to give me any information on who made these seats and what is the material made out of. This makes it nearly impossible for me to gather safety information regarding these seats and rather or not they meet all applicable dot standards. Thank you very much for your consideration of my concerns.

Water leaking into passenger compartment - soaking electrical wire bundle, seat and floor; dripped at right passenger seat grab handle in rain or wet snow vehiclestationary or moving

When driving over 50 mph on highway and brakes are applied the steering wheel shakes violently. This has happened since the vehicle was new. Dealer said it was the tires. He replaced them and the shaking stopped for almost a year. Tires were replaced again and shaking stopped for almost a year then resumed. No shaking occurs at speeds under 40 mph when brakes were applied. Most of my driving occurs below 40 moh.

The contact owns a 2015 toyota tacoma. While the engine was running and the brake pedal was depressed, the brake pedal traveled to the floor. The failure would not occur when the engine was off. The dealer stated that the failure was normal. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 200.updated 03/15/17*lj

The contact owns a 2015 toyota tacoma. While driving approximately 10 mph, the brake pedal was depressed and the vehicle continued to accelerate. The emergency brake was engaged however, the vehicle slightly scraped the concrete driveway wall. There was no personal injury. There was minor damage to the front bumper. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who replaced both the brake actuator and master cylinder. The bumper was not replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 9,000.

Took truck in for 25,000 maintenance ,dealership said brakes are 50% remaining. At 30,000 miles breaks are metal to metal, dealership refused to tow or do repairs and now are stating i declined towing and repairs.vehicles has been in a wreck, i believe the result of the brakes.called dealership 6 times trying to get repairs done correctly but never received a call back.i believe they committed fraud in maintenance and negligence and telling me the vehicle was safe to drive. Vehicle is still under factory warranty.

This has been occurring for some time now and is related to my breaks. At first not so bad but is becoming much worse over the last year and a half.let me describe as i did to my toyota service center last week before my last service and multi point inspection. When i am on the highway and i apply the breaks to slow the vehicle the steering wheel violently jumps back and forth in my hands. The harder i apply brake pressure the worse it gets. I just returned from a trip with some friends golfing. We traveled from cumming, ga to huntsville, al. This was chronic and getting a bit scary.we purchased the truck new and it has only about 40,000 miles. I take good care of the vehicle but this is not good.we (my wife and i) are making a trip to green bay, wi to visit family and friends.this is serious and should be fixed. It feels unsafe.our current service center is beaver toyota of cumming ga.we are leaving june 6, 2019 to travel to green bay..... It would be nice it were fixed before we leave!j my telephone (cell) is (xxxxxx) please call.parts of this document have been redacted to protect personally identifiable information pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6)

Warped rotors at 30k miles, now again at 43k, dealer will not acknowledge complaint, my 2011 had same issue brakes repaired under warranty . When downhill or hard brake, steering wheel will vibrate when brakes are applied. Dealer confirmed pads are still good but rotor warped.

Sitting at a dead cold stop. After approximately 3 minutes - brakes just released with me standing on the pedal - allowing me to roll into the vehicle in front of me. My vehicle impacted the rear of the vehicle in front of me at approximately 5mph. I was literally screaming and standing on the brake pedal - zero effect. I felt no loss of hydraulic pressure or mechanical feedback through the pedal at anytime. It's as if the calipers all just released with me on the pedal the whole time.

As we were driving last night, the steering wheel fell apart during a turn, rendering it instantly unmovable. We got stuck in the oncoming traffic lane. We could not exit the vehicle because too many cars were whizzing by us. When we dislodged the broken piece we pulled over to the side. We physically hold the steering wheel together so that we could drive home. Toyota hauled the car off this morning. You're very lucky to be alive, we can take this very seriously and would hope that you would do the same. As soon as we could move the vehicle to a safer location, i began videoing. I have that as well.

I bought a new 2015 tacoma 4x4 and it has 77,000 miles on it now. There is knocking noise coming from behing the steering wheel. I took it to the dealer to have it inspected and they told me the steering intermediate shaft needs replaced.evidently there is "play" around where the ruber bushing is. I've researched this problem and it goes all the way back to 2005 models. Why is there not a recall for this? this is definitely not a maintenance issue but could possibly become a life threatening one! i'm very disappointed in toyota for not owning up to this problem to repair it instead of passing the cost on to the consumer!

Bushing between truck bed and frame wore out causing bed to bounce around

Paint is very weak, thin, and scratches very easily. Very low quality paint job. Clear coat is non-existent. This is a black truck and the primer is whitish color so every little scratch shows very clearly.a tennis ball bouncing off the truck leaves scratches into the primer, which is ridiculous.toyota respectfully declined to address the issue within 2 minutes of contacting cooperate, and they do not allow you to speak to managers. Their decision is final.

The first time i heard the whistling sound i thought it was coming from the passenger side mirror while i was driving over 55 mph on the highway.then i heard same whistling sound coming from the drivers side mirror the next time i was on highway going over 55 mph.then it came from both sides of pickup and sounded like noise coming from both outside mirrors on front of my truck.i researched online and found others who reported similar noise while driving pickup at highway speeds.i called the dealer where i bought my toyota tacoma in august of 2015 and the service center representative, alan advised me that to date there was no recall but they were aware of the problem and would try to do something to alleviate the noise from front area of the pickup.

Both my truck and my dads truck make model and year and both of the frame are rusting on the frame and frame welds as well as the leaf springs are rusting and starting to flatten out while parked and the drive shaft and the rear differential is starting to rust very quickly as well they are just daily drivers and we keep them very clean and live in florida so we don't have road salt

The contact owns a 2015 toyota tacoma. While driving 60 mph, a whistling sound was heard from the driver and passenger side doors. The failure occurred constantly. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the weather stripping of both doors failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 10,000.

I am concerned that the label on my truck which contains information about the weight load bearing is wrong, because both leaf springs on my truck broke and i wasn't carrying a heavy load, or more than what is recommended. How do i pursue a dispute with a recall? truck was in motion on a dirt road when i was hauling an atv and i noticed that my bed looked off balance.

Unintended acceleration.

Doors do not automatically lock when truck begins to move. Small children are transported in this vehicle and i feel that this is an unsafe condition.

While driving at 65 mph i heard a loud screeching sound which startled me causing me to almost lose control. A cross wind along with bad door seals caused this problem. The internet documents this problem well if you search 2015 tacoma wind noise. Please see this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gbt7dasthpm the sound is very loud.

While driving the truck, my husband heard a "popping" sound, looked in the backseat, and saw that the right, rear jumpseat, which had been in an upright position, was "seat-down, headrest up" and the right rear pane of glass in the rear windshield had shattered.the response of reinhardt toyota was, "your warranty doesn't cover glass, but we'll repair it for $1,100."

My problem is on-going regarding blind-spots/poor visibility due to oversized side view mirrors. I have spoken to my toyota dealer parts dept, the saleman, the head of the service department, toyota manufacturing's customer service department; non of them are able to help me. They referred me to you.the over-sized side mirrors & housing cause very serious blind spots looking to either the driver's side or passenger side, blocking visibility over the front fenders when making a right or left turn.i have become very proactive if i am entering into an intersection to be aware if there is a vehicle or person in the intersection before i get there. Otherwise i do not see them if they are alreadyin the blind spotnumerous times i have almost hit someone, children, or a car when turning because of this. Only luck and the other person's awareness that i did not hit them. Unfortunately, no matter how proactively aware i am of my surroundings, if a vehicle or person has already entered into the blind spot or dead zone it does not matter i will not see them. It happened again just recently. Toyota says they have no options for replacing the mirrors with a smaller version.i have put a cushion on my seat to raise me, but that is of little help.i need a smaller profiled mirror.too me the need for such an over sized mirror and housing is unnecessary for everyday driving.it is a liability.it is just a matter of time before something happens. I do not want to have get rid of the truck, but i do not want to hurt someone.i am very concerned.i have seen internet postings of others having the same issue.the salesman said he is aware of this being an issue for some people with the prius.please give a call with suggestions and help.thank you very much, jackie

My horn only works when i turn the steering wheel. When i drive straight it does not work

While pulling into a parking space at work.i was almost at a stopwith my foot on the brake when suddenly the truck accelerated at a high rate of speed. I hit the building in front of me and my truck was totaled luckily no one was injured . Most people say well you must have hit the accelerator my mistake that is not the case my foot was already applying the brake to stop a

Toyota's emission part failure at 7,800 miles.truck threw a code p2440 and p2442 which affects the secondary air injection system.after doing some research, it appears that the pump and or valves are prone to failure under 60k miles.toyota has been aware of this issue and has been prone to failure in their tundra models prior to putting them in 2012+ tacoma models. Parts are around $800-$1,000 and dealer quotes are around $1,800-$2k to fix.these parts should not be failing at such low mileage and luckily was under the 3year/36k warranty.

Recall hood scoop

As we were driving last night, the steering wheel fell apart during a turn, rendering it instantly unmovable. We got stuck in the oncoming traffic lane. We could not exit the vehicle because too many cars were whizzing by us. When we dislodged the broken piece we pulled over to the side. We physically hold the steering wheel together so that we could drive home. Toyota hauled the car off this morning. You're very lucky to be alive, we can take this very seriously and would hope that you would do the same. As soon as we could move the vehicle to a safer location, i began videoing. I have that as well.

The wiper blade cowl over time has come away from window and allows water the go into cabin air filter and leak through to the inside of truck. From what i am looking up online many other people has had same issue with same year and all the way back to the early 2000. I fell as this could leak to failure of the blower motor or wires under dash on the passenger side. This has happened when it rains or washing vehicle.

My stepson was pulling into the driveway, he stopped, then the toyota tacoma lunged forward crashing into our garage. I had noticed since leasing the truck in july of 2015, that once in a while i would come to a stop and it felt like i just got rear ended but nobody was behind me.

Sudden acceleration on feb 25, 2020.i was pulling into a parking spot, low speed (under 10 mph), right hand turn, vehicle suddenly accelerated.i pressed hard on the brake, locking the brakes up and squealing tires.the truck lurched to a stop.no damage, no other cars near where i was parking.this was a normal routine stop at a local gas station that make some mornings before work to purchase a fountain drink.unknown cause - ecu/software, gas pedal sensors, electrical noise ? year, make, model: 2015 toyota tacoma truck - purchased new dec 2014.vehicle has been routinely maintained and in excellent condition.new tires on feb 7, 2020 at 75,329 miles, similar size as original.mileage: 76093 at time of incidentfyi - i am an engineer at nasa - johnson space center

My 2015 tacoma has an indication that cruise control (cc) is turned on, but not if cc is engaged or disengaged. I was driving in the right lane on a multiple lane freeway with cc on and engaged. When i approached slower moving traffic in the lane i was traveling, i moved to the left lane to pass. I used the accelerator in order to speed up and minimize my impact on the faster moving traffic in the lane. I did this without disengaging cc. Feeling social pressure to move right as traffic was backing up even at my accelerated speed, i released the accelerator and moved right. As my vehicle slowed and i approached the vehicle now in front of me, i did not recall cc was engaged. Since i was expecting my vehicle to continue decelerating, i was caught off guard when my cc engaged and quickly accelerate to resume the set speed after my vehicle's speed dropped 1-2 mph less than the speed my cc was engaged to maintain.i was able to quickly hit the brakes avoid a collision, but am concerned this failure to indicate the status of my cc may cause a future collision. Code of regulations title 49 section 571.101 s5.2.8 states "each control for an automatic vehicle speed system (cruise control) and each control for heating and air conditioning systems must have identification provided for each function of each such system." i do not believe my vehicle satisfies this requirement as their is no identification indicating the two settings available when cc is on: engaged and disengaged.i've contacted toyota and the dealership where i purchased the truck. They offered no solution and stated the speedometer holding a constant speed was the indication cc was engaged. I question if this is a valid argument because when i put my foot on the accelerator when cc is engaged, my speed changes. Thank you for taking my complaint.

I have twice in the last year brought my 2015 toyota tacoma to the dealership in stuart florida to address a safety related issue where i reported that every morningon my way to work condensation accumulates on the outside of the windshield restricting vision.the windshield defrost vent directs air-conditioned cold air, even when the defrost feature is not selected, creating a potentially serious vision impairment safety hazard. The only way to remove the condensation is to engage the windshield wiper every couple of minutes when condensation becomes too dense. Last week the dealer witnessed the issue and could actually feel the cold air being emitted and then consulted with a corporate technical assistant who advised via technical case #152830046 'the hvac system was operating as designed' and blaming florida's humidity.i have owned and operated many vehicles in florida over many years including toyotas and never experienced this problem. Either the hvac system on this model has a safety flaw in the 'design' or the corporation is trying to avoid what may be a costly, potentially fleet-wide, repair. Nonetheless impair vision is a safety hazard that needs to be corrected by toyota.

The wiper blade cowl over time has come away from window and allows water the go into cabin air filter and leak through to the inside of truck. From what i am looking up online many other people has had same issue with same year and all the way back to the early 2000. At night, the top 1/3rd of the windshield causes double vision of lights. This occurs for all headlights, taillights, signal lights, and streetlights. This doesn't occur lower in the windshield, but it's unavoidable for taller drivers (i'm over 6' tall). This does occur the entire width of the windshield. It doesn't occur with any of the side windows. It also did not occur in a previous 2013 tacoma that i owned.i've verified this with the dealership (kearny mesa toyota, san diego ca). They were able to reproduce the issue in my brand new vehicle. They have also reproduced this in 3 other brand new 2015 toyota tacomas on their lot. They have stated that this is simply the way the windshield is manufactured.this is a serious night time safety issue that appears to be inherent in all 2015 tacomas. It seems to me that the state of california would refuse to issue me a drivers license if i told them i had night time double vision. It can't be acceptable that it's built into a vehicle.

The side view mirrors are too big and obstruct the view when turning right or left. The driver's side view mirror is worse and when turning left you can't see if there is a pedestrian in the crosswalk. It seems to be a problem for short drivers mostly and most women are much shorter than men. I have gone to the dealer and they do not have a solution. This seems to have been a problem on a number of toyotas for many years. I suspect i will have to go to a junk yard and find something that is smaller. For more on other people who have had the same problem, go to:side mirror blind spot http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/61-2nd-generation-2005-2015/297184-side-mirror-blind-spot.html

The contact owns a 2015 toyota tacoma. When the driver side window was wet, it made a loud squealing noise and extreme moisture accumulated in the door well. The dealer diagnosed and repaired the vehicle twice, but the failure recurred. The vin was not available. Used certified 2015, tacoma, purchased at toyota of orange, ca. With a pitted windshield. Dealer didn't disclose.safety issue.dealer wanted to do a repair it not replace it. Sense then i have a replace it with a new one, because it created a visibility hazard. Not covered by warranty.all their inspections miss it.discovered on 3-12-19, several days later after purchase.

I have recently reached 25000 on my truck.in the last 6 months i have had 2 flats and 6 leaks.my tire now has a tear on the tread. I have been on city and highway roads primarily.twice i got low tire only 3 days after going to the dealer for regular maintenance.i do not feel safe with these tires and i haul friends, family, and children frequently. The potential for a blowout or complete flat has been increasing. I do not like the risk and potential factor that i am relying on for these tire.

Have had two tires fail by tears in the bottom of the tread. These failures have been sudden and instantly flat while the vehicle was in motion. All other tiers are showing checking/cracking in the same manner as the failed ones. Bf goodrich has been no help so far. Will some one have to die before something is done?

I bought all 4 of my tires at the tire shop and i haven't drove more then 5,000 miles on them and it seemed to me that there was a tread separation so i went to take them in to change my tires because i had warranty on them . When i told about it they said they couldn't do anything and i would have to buy new tires and the warranty didn't cover it . I noticed it when i was at work and grabbing my drink from the truck . I have a daughter that's 1 and safety is my concern and want my family to be safe . And for me to buy new tires would put a dent on my pocket because i got other bills and priorities to pay . So my concern is that should my warranty cover my tires and is there a manufactory problem with the tires ? i did take them to 3 other tire shops and 2 out of 3 said it looks like there tread separating and the other couldn't really tell how that would happen .
