The consumer noticed while driving the vehicle drove rough.while accelerating the vehicle would hesitate then accelerate slowly.the driver was able to drive it to the dealer for inspection.the driver informed the driver the head gasket was blown and needed replacement.please fill in additional information.
A crackdeveloped betweenfirewall and hydraulic clutch.also,clutch assemblybracket broke.unable to engage or disengageclutch. Dealer notified, and informedconsumer that vehicle was out of its warranty, and any repairs would be at consumer's cost.
The contact owns a 1996 toyota t-100. The contact stated that the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic for regularly scheduled maintenance. The technician notified the contact that the sub frame fractured in half due to corrosion. The vehicle was towed back to the contact's residence. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 230,900.
Accident was due to back road that was just resurfaced with tar & chips loose gravel slow speed crash passing another car vehicle went off burm driver could not get back onto main surface and hit cement culvert passenger side this accident was not due to faulty vehicle frame was damaged right front drove vehicle home 1 mile. I oppened a claim at toyota case # 1004071047 before accident occured. I personally told body shop that the frame was bad they would not total vehicle at 3000.00 they said they could fix vehicle for 1800.00 i told them they were crazy also told state farm went to toyoya of greensburg asked them to please look at vehicle the repair bill was $ 5500.00 after inspection ran out in dec, vehicle has a bad frame and cannot be inspected now what. Very upset with toyota for not looking into this problem for me toyota owner since 1979 i have 2 toyotas at the present time but not for long if something is not done about this. Body shop is 1/4 mile from toyota greensburg. I have also replaced gas tank all new brake lines fuel lines i really hate to comlain and i am willing to trade vehicle in on new or used toyota i have been a toyota lover since my first truck in 1979. Have owned 4 since. Still have a 1986 i use at my dads farm that i bought new at bob massie in white oak.
