New 1992toyota 3vze long bed truck blew the headgasket three times, about 6 months apart & as it was a "campaign" & not a recall the dealerships would not fix it until i called toyota mfg.each repair, i had to pay approx $1k to $2k and the first two times they used the same defective gasket! i had also complained about the steering from the day i bought it as it will not make a sharp left turn when moving slow, mostly in 4-wheel drive.i was told all 4x4's are like that. I know better than that!my 66 land rover & 78 land cruiser do not have a steering problem in any gear at any speed.it finally stopped blowing headgaskets, but it is still useless offroad due to the steering ! mechanical failures on a new vehicle are bad enough, but the treatment & lies from the dealerships guarantee that i will never buy or recommend anything toyota again !
