My daughter was choked by a defective seatbelt in a rented toyota sienna minivan.while i was waiting with my children in the van, the middle seatbelt on the third row bench seat became entangled around my 5 year old daughter's neck and then locked up.the seatbelt would not move in or out, and it became so tight around my daughter's neck that we could not move her.further, any release mechanism for the seatbelt was not reachable or easily engaged.after many attempts to disengage the seatbelt and release my daughter, we finally had to cut the seatbelt with finger nail clippers. The seatbelt was tight enough around my daughter's neck to restrict her breathing.her face became red and she started to panic, as did i.thankfully, other family members came to our aid and we were able to release her after 5 minutes of the seatbelt choking her.it was very traumatic experience for all involved.i believe the seatbelt design is defective and very dangerous.in fact, had i not been there at the time, i believe there is a good chance my daughter would have choked to death.i will be pursuing litigation to see that this dangerous product is made safe.
Front brakes rotors rusted out. Backbrakes" backing plates" rusted out. This has never happened to me before. Has this happened to an unusually large number of this make vehicle???

The lugs:nuts broke. Both taking them off and putting them back on with an impact wrench. No information in owner's manual about torque specs or proper procedures for removal of wheels. Lugs:nuts separate in the middle leaving part of the threaded portion in the wheel. ****dimsii ivoq entry posted after 12/12/02 cut-over to artemis****724457.
