Toyota dealer in buena park ( auto nation) informed me that my toyota vehicle requires repair service as part of a manufacture's recall( nhtsa recall no 18v-684) and auto nation will perform any repairs subject to recall notice at no charge as per attached copy here, this manufacture's recall notice indicated that if the vehicle has experienced an invert failure with certain hybrid system faults related to this condition, the inverter assembly will be repaired or replace free of charge.on february 26, 2019, i went to auto nation and explained that the another toyota dealer replaced inverter and engine coolant on this hybrid vehicleon november 15, 2015 and this vehicle experienced same problem. Also, i asked to perform repairs or replacement of the inverter.the feb 27, 2019 email from auto nation mentioned that they did not approve repair due to high mileage and the auto nation invoice #683196dated feb.28, 2019 indicated that dealer is not authorized to perform recall repairs. I attached copy of email and invoice.i believe that the recall repairs should be done for the safety without any discrimination such as my age and race. I will derive the car after receipt of toyota confirmation that this vehicle is safe. Please let me know your instruction.
