Airbag light flashing.
I've experienced ongoing issues with the crc application for the toyota tundra frame rust issue since it was originally applied.the first application failed after 1 day of use.the second application failed less than a year later.the third application, applied oct. 14 2013 has now failed.on october 15 toyota informed me they would not honor the 12 month warranty as described on the paperwork from the service department for any future issues with regards to the frame rust or their workmanship.however, i received a call from toyota on october 28, 2013 in which they informed me the crc application that had previously been applied was determined to be defective but there was no solution to the problem at the time.they stated once a solution was determined the local dealership would contact me to resolve the issue.after not receiving a response from the local dealership i called toyota on march 24, 2014 and was informed that an upgraded compound was released on feb 14, 2014 and the dealerships were made aware of it on feb. 27, 2014.the toyota service representative informed me he would have the dealership contact me within 2 business days to apply the upgraded compound.the local dealership contacted me the next day and said he was not aware of a new solution and that he would call toyota for more info.on march 25, 2014 toyota called me to inform me a case manger from toyota would call me within the next day and assigned a new case number for the issue in question.the service manager called again on march 27, 2014 and said there was no new compound.a new representative from toyota called on march 28, 2014 to inform me that toyota would not be responsible for any additional work performed on the vehicle.when i asked about the previous statements from toyota on october 28, 2013 and march 24, 2014 toyota denied ever making those statements.
Car hit a pot hole at about 35 mph, front end began to shake violently, and the driver thought the vehicle might lose control of steering
1. Nothing special to cause the issue. It's a beautiful day in southern california and no traffic in freeway.2. All of sudden, my car seems lose it's power for less a second and re-engage. In the mean time car skidded into the ditch and i need to turn the handle to make it straight. Fortunately, no other cars around us. After that my car has the abs and vsc trac lights on3. My sequoia is still staying in shop for checking. The computer reads "yaw rate sensor failure" for the problem.
The driver-side window has an auto up and auto down feature.the auto up does not have a sensor to stop travel if window is blocked.this can cause personal injury and/or the glass to break.recent news story described small girl who suffocated by activating power window switch while her head was extended through the window opening.the highlander operator only needs to "bump" switch once and travel will not stop until closed unless window switch is pressed again.
With rear windows open, the sound the resonates from cargo area is very uncomfortable to the occupants.not able to drive with rear windows open.not a one-time occurance, but daily.this would deter future purchases.
