With 15068 miles on the tires, lt195/75r14 8 pr,toyota,pickup, 1986. All five tires had split.itlooked like someone took a knife and stabbedthem all the way around. All 5 tires had separation, the dot #'s ejdyjch124 (for 2 tires), ejdyjch443, ejdyjch044, and ejdyjch134.
The contact owns a 1986 toyota truck with a haul master (year unknown) utility trailer. The trailer was equipped with innova ultra runner tires, size: 5.3/12. The contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 17v638000 (tires) however, the parts were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact contacted the store manager at harbor freight located at 3970 w ina rd, tucson, az 85741(520) 579-0225 where they informed the contact parts were not available. The manufacturer was not notified of the issue. The contact had not experienced any failure. Parts distribution disconnect.
Tire tread unraveled with out warning and i lost control of the truck. Slid into a deep ditch. The tire caused extensive damage to the rear side of the car.
