Consumerhad an accident, and driver's side/assenger's side air bags did not deploy.
Bicycle attachment for roof luggage rack failed, allowing bike to fall off of roof. *dh
Fuel tank fracture and leak. A crack in the stamped steel of the upper half of the fuel tank where three faces are bent. Cracks have developed in the originally installed tank, and two subsequent, dealer-supplied fuel tanks over the past 6 months. The leak is sufficient to allow significant dripping/draining of fuel when the tank is full, including puddling underneath the vehicle. Due to the location of the crack, the fuel spills onto the driveshaft (directly opposite the muffler), as well as wicking fuel down the parking break cable towards the back. Inquiry online reveals several other individuals with identical tank fractures/cracks developing.
Steel brake line running from the front to the rear of the vehicle along the driver's side frame rail rusted through near the front of the vehicle.lost all braking, narrowly avoided a collision by swerving around a stopped vehicle and driving through an intersection where the traffic light turned red.this is the second steel hydraulic line that has rusted though on this vehicle.the first was the power steering cooler line.
When applying brakes at high/low speeds, the brakes would fail to catch right away. The problem is intermittent.took to dealer & could not find anything.
Brakes failed resulting in collision.
The anti lock failed caused consumer to have an accident.tt

S10 appropriate handling re toyota acceleration problem fm owner of previously owned 1995 toyota land cruiser.the consumer stated the floor mat slid under the accelerator pedal and caused the vehicle to accelerate out of control. The consumers wife was pinned in the vehicle and suffered serious injuries. The consumer suffered injuries as well.
