My daughter was moving through an intersection when she noticed a honda accord coming quickly to her left at about 30 mph.she turned the car to the right and the front (bumper and structure behind and both lights) were damaged along with the driver front quarter panel and the driver rear quarter panel.the air bags deployed in the honda.no air bag deployment in the toyota.she was dizzy and thinks her head hit the steering wheel.

Takata recallto whom it may concern i have been getting the run around from thomas toyota in joliet illinois about getting the recall call done on my mother in laws car,recall no. 16v-340 & 17v-006, since i have gotten the safety recall letter from you folks i have made numerous attempts to get the car in there and keep getting excuse after excuse about why they cant do it, if the defective airbag should deploy before the fix you can be assured that i will be contacting a lawyer and a lawsuit will be filed and all parties involved will be getting sued, all i want is the problem fixed without the excuses involved, brian the asst. Parts manager there said that the parts needed to fix the car will not be in until december 2017, and i can not let the car sit that long for the repair as it is my daily driver, again all i want is it to be fixed and have been getting the run around and there is no need for it, i have been going around with this since may and again there is no excuse for it

While driving in the rain consumer heard a loud noise, consumer took her foot off the gas and the loud noise stopped, consumer also noticed that the vehicle would not accelerate over 35mph, however after the rain stopped the vehicle accelerated fine, this problem has only occurred while raining, possible transmission problem.

Consumer states that grease was oozing out of the hood and trunk, the dealer put plugs in the ventilation holes in the hood and trunk, also while cleaning the back inside window, consumer noticed that the head liner was coming off.

Consumer noticed vehicle needed an alignment the same day of purchase.

Revealing toyota fraud*cwthe consumer stated on june 30, 1997 while driving on the massachusetts turnpike with her two small children in the back seat of a brand new toyota corolla that was less than 1 year old, the vehicle became problematic and she was overthrown which left her paralyzed. After several years of finding no evidence, toyota made a settlement offer of $1,000,000 in 2002. The consumer could not understand why they were asserting an offer, when they claimed there was no problem with the vehicle. The consumers husband is an engineer with a phd in mechanical engineering. Herhusband purchased an identical vehicle and through much research and investigation, they discovered what possibly caused the accident was the strut rod that connected the rear left wheel. During the investigation, they also discovered an important piece of evidence in a police photograph from the scene of the accident, which a darkened image was taken facing the sun. They discovered a whitish object near the left rear wheel in the darkened photo. It was the brake drum, which had been pushed back and discovered that this would not have happened in a normal car. That is, the strut bar which performs an important function, had fallen off.the strut rod is a long bar that affixes the wheel in a certain position to prevent it from rolling without control.

Consumer states while his son was driving the vehicle, one of the firestone tires blewout, consumer had to buy a new tire, no specific tire information given.

In back of the passenger seat there is exposed metal. This is a safety hazard and caused me serious injury and pain to my foot, when my wet show sliped on tje rubber floormat.
