While making turns on well-maintained city streets, the camry hybrid's rear end is unstable. It fishtails. I experienced this twice while making right-hand turns, once on dry pavement and once on wet pavement. These are low-speed turns. I also experienced this while driving on a roundabout at a low speed in a local shopping center. I am a safe, cautious driver and purchased this car for myself because of its excellent crash-safety ratings. I will no longer drive it because of the rear-end stability problem, so my spouse took over driving the vehicle. This morning, he returned from an outing and said that the car fishtailed three times today, while making both left and right turns. The streets are damp today (from an overnight rain). The car is dealership-maintained; the tires are in good condition and are properly inflated. I have never had a vehicle behave in this manner (have owned or currently own and drive honda accord, mazda b2200 pickup, mercedes 300se, subaru forester, vw jetta, gm sierra pickup, ford f150 pickup). I have completed two toyota surveys detailing this complaint and have heard nothing. Want to send someone by to drive the car?

At least two weeks ago, toyota updated its entune navigation software with a flawed system update that eliminated the voice command system for phones, navigation, etc. Toyota has failed to provide public notification of the problem and has to-date failed to come up with a solution to correcting the problem. This results in a safety problem, as toyota customers can no longer place or make calls or seek directions verbally. All commands must be physically entered on the system or a smartphone resulting in a clear driver distraction and safety hazard.

Pre-collision system not operating.using manufacturers parameters, there is no warning beeps. Flashing brake light on the dash and no automatic braking, when driving over 10 mph and a crash is about to happen.toyota customer service denies there is a problem, but cannot prove it works in the here and now, due to saftey concerns..went to phillips toyota in leesburg, florida.master technician tested vehicleon highway with me inside and wrote that pcs does not work.service mgr called later and said no problem with pcs.toyota closed case #1706100949
