When driving between 40-45 mph, a vehicle ran the stop sign on a side street on to the street my wife was driving on, and she hit the vehicle broadside.her safety belt was securely fastened, however the shoulder portion of the belt gave way, and my wife struck the steering wheel with her chest, pinning her wrist in between herself and the steering wheel.the airbags also did not deploy.

Driver door lock actuator stopped working 41,000 miles. Purchased car new from toyota dealer. Lease.
We have had all four door lock actuators replaced... Before 40,000 miles!!! and all within six months of each other...ugh!!! but at least they were under warranty, thank god, because if they weren't, it would have been $1,700. I know this is a very common problem with toyota products, i guess they just have very weak door lock motors. This is the order they went out in: drivers, rear passenger, front passenger, and rear driver. Before they actually went out, they would intermittently not work. You could see the door lock indicator trying to move, but it couldn't move all the way into the locked or unlocked position. It seemed to happen when it either was super cold or super hot outside. What was super annoying was if one door lock didn't lock, the entire car unlocked itself. So you would walk away thinking the car was locked, when it really wasn't. Eventually they just quit locking and unlocking all together. Other than that, the car has been flawless. We absolutely love the car, we are toyota people for life! however, i figure if enough people complain about them, toyota will recall them or do some sort of service bulletin for them.
Car will not start unless i use a battery charger.

I paid modern toyota a lot of money to add navigation system in car they put a third party system in car last sunday i was in the car and letting a lady pass with shopping cart the mic of third party system melted the whole assembly on roof where the glass holder and lights are fall on lap i got shock and hit the gas i hit the shopping cart and lady fall to ground that made a dent in front fender of car i went to toyota told them i paid a lot of $ for system and they need to replace this with factory with built with bluetooth and navigation andthe dent they refuse to do so i told them my family travels in that car what if i was traveling on highway and that happen they didn't care about my safety or my families i call toyota they are buying time so i can't take action against them, i need justice i am paying a lot of money for this car if they won't fix it then i need $ to fix it my self.
This is a copy of my safety complaint to consumer report magazine regarding potentially fatal flaw in toyota hybrid camry cars.i am writing this to express my strong disappointment in cr's shoddy car reviews, in this case, hybrid camry.not once has your reviews of this car mentioned the major and potentially fatal flaw in this car when driving it at night:the headlights of the cars behind seen in the rear view mirror are distorted, making it nearly impossible for the driver to correctly judge distance or relative position of the cars approaching from behind.instead, one sees a blurred window of parallel, intertwining, and confusing rays of light. It makes changing lanes nearly impossible and driving on a busy highway at night, especially when it is raining, extremely dangerous and terrifying. I believe that this car need to be recalled and fixed as soon as possible. To that end, i am sending a copy of this email to the department of consumer safety and the headquarters for the toyota company.

Plastic part of the release button broke either after release or when trying to buckle up. It would no longer latch. Under 75k miles on the car and i am only driver.
Since i have bought this vehicle since january 2014, i have experienced steady deterioration of driver seat leather cushionness. Right now it has decreased by one and half inch to two inches. I have filed a case file #1407011080 with toyota on july 1, and visited dealer to get my seat examined, but toyota has not replaced my driver seat. I have even contacted toyota customer service two times both via email on july 14 and phone call on july18. But there is no response or not even a simple follow up. Due to very less cushionness in my driver seat, i am experiencing pain in my legs and hips.please have toyota fix this issue asap by replacing vehicle seats.
I was exiting off the highway and approaching an intersection. Although my foot was depressing the brake, the vehicle did not slow at all. I pressed the brake a lot harder and the abs activated.this is a hybrid vehicle and the braking is different than with regular cars. Vehicle was taken to toyota very shortly afterwards. At approximately 10:30 am, on 3/10/2015, while my wife was making the final approach (approximately 5 ft.) to a parking spot at the mill bakery, navoo, il; she experienced an unintended vehicle acceleration. The hybrid car was running on its electric motor when my wife began to step on the brake to slow the car to a stop. While braking, the car turned on the gas engine and accelerated with enough speed to leave leave rubber tire marks on the parking surface. The car jumped the parking barrier and damaged the lower portion of the right-front bumper. My wife continued to step on the brake and was able to stop the car. When my wife returned to our home in missouri on 3/11/2015, i reported this problem to the toyota company, my local dealer and insurance company.

Rear view mirror, night time driving,viewing of vehicles approaching from rear is distorted by the bright image that appears in the mirror. I put a suitcase in the trunk on its side. It was touching the inside top of the trunk. In removing the suitcase the spring mechanism , that holds the trunk open, was dislodged. This caused the trunk lid to fall heavily on me.
