The contact owns a 2014 thor damon (na) outlaw recreational vehicle. The contact stated that the radio shorted out, the electric shades would not go up and down with the control button, and the rear passenger side door frame was deteriorating on the outside. In addition, the floor was separating to the point that the contact could see through the floor. The manufacturer referred the contact to an authorized dealer. The contact had extensive documentation pertaining to the electrical repairs. The radio was replaced and the bare wiring was replaced, which was deteriorating in the interior of the vehicle. The vehicle was repaired, but the failures recurred. Furthermore, the awning would not retract and detract intermittently upon pressing the control button. The manufacturer was notified. The approximate failure mileage was 300.
Windshield is falling out. Manufacturer is not being responsive to a critical safety item that could cause death.
Michelin 255/80r22.5 tires at 10,399 miles had a side wall belt break on the outside rear passenger tire. While sitting on the side of i-75 for 4.5 hours noticed that steer tires were severely worn. After contacting many different mobile repair companies, no one could get the tire size we needed. Finally found one that was willing to go to another company and buy one, come out to us and change the tire for a cost of $675.00 for the tire alone plus another $315.50 for changing the tire. There were no tires available so we drove another 842 miles to our destination. At each stop we checked the tires. When rubbing the tires with our hands, the rubber on the surface rubbed off leaving piles of rubber shavings. By the time we reached our destination the front tires are down below the wear bars. The tires were manufactured in 2013 and are still under warranty. We waited over a month before an approved michelin dealer could get the proper size tires and inspect the bad tires. Michelin sold us a replacement tire for $27.73 plus tax to cover the blown out tire, but would not cover the $675.00 we paid for the blow out replacement. Michelin would not help in anyway with the steer tires that are worn out after 11,241 miles. Michelin stated to us that they do not cover wear on their tires even through these tires only have 11,241 miles on them and they are completely worn out because the rubber rubs off.
