2014 ford thor hurricane e-450.consumer writes in regards to defective windshield wipers and seeks reimbursement for repairs.*ld
Recall 17v-162.this recall only tightens fasteners on wiper assy.it does no additional repairs.my wipers blades fell apart while driving in heavy rain on interstate 90.dealer would only replace entire wiper assembly for $500+.they would not replace individual parts or sell me individual parts.there was a broken part called a crank arm.i had the broken part welded and reassembled the system. The wiper timing still does not work right in heavy rain and wind.the recall is worthless.
