2012 thor hurricane motor coach. Insurance company writes in regards to a fire that ignited near the engine compartment on the front passenger side while the consumer was driving *tgwthe unit was totally destroyed by the fire. Updated 08/14/12 updated 08/15/12*ljupdated 08/16/12.
The contact owns a 2012 thor hurricane rv. The contact stated that while driving approximately 60 mph, a strong odor of hydraulic fluid emitted inside of the vehicle. The contact later noticed that the hydraulic system was leaking fluid. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer, who stated that the hydraulic line would need to be replaced due to a hole. The vehicle would be repaired once the part became available. The manufacturer was notified of the problem. The approximate failure mileage was 6,000. The vin was unavailable.
Driving 63 mph on hwy 99 northof madera, ca in 2012 32' class a rv when right front tire blew/tread separated. Continental hsr with 20,300 miles which was always covered when parked and proper 95 psi air pressure always maintained/checked. No reason for this failure..significant damage to turn signal assembly and r/h lighting wire harness.
