2007 tmc hurricane.consumer writes in regards to battery failure recall notice and consumer seeks reimbursement for repairs.the manufacturer refused to reimburse the consumer for the repair work. Also, the sway bar mount bushings were worn.
Voltage transfer switch burned up, this model iota its-50rhas been recalled for 5th wheel and trailers but not for mororhomes.at the time of the incident it was 1:30 in the morning while the motor home was connected to 50 amp shore power with jacks and 3 slides extended. Woke up to alarm and coach filled with smoke and smelled like burned wires, inspection of transfer swithch inside of box was melted and cover was charred, not sure of damage until dealer replaces the transfer switch and inspects all 110 electrical componets.
2007 thor hurricane.consumer writes in regards to faulty wiring repairs prior to the recall notice.the consumer stated the motor home lost all power for a short time, but then resumed. A short time later, the consumer parked the motor home and when he returned, once again there was no power and he was unable to start it.
