I bought this bike online and had it shipped to me in hawaii. It has multiple problems that made it impossible to even register.the manufacturer label is invalid and incomplete. But i wanted to report the safety of it as well. The exhaust tubing is about 3-4 inches away from the foot pedal. I burned my achilles area when i was mounting the unit after stoping at a gas station. I have had other mopeds, and the others have the exhaust pipe more under the unit and on the taotao racer 50 the exhaust pipe sticks out. I feel it sticks out too much, yet i don't know what is the rule for that. The inspector who i saw,when i went to try and register the racer 50 says the manufacturer had cut many corners and told me it could not be registered at all.
