I was riding along side a semi-truck when the driver of the semi-truck decided to change lanes.my assumption is that the driver did not see me and proceeded to change lanes.i tried to speed up and that's when my motorcycle lost power and would not accelerate.so in order for me to avoid being run over by the truck; i had to bring my motorcycle to and abrupt stop in the middle of the road.what i believe happened was that my motorcycle slipped out of 2nd gear into neutral!!!
I almost dropped my bike today expecting to accelerate into a turn with no speed while the bike is jumping violently. When releasing the clutch the bike jumps violently and make sit hard to control and take offand in result blocking traffic falling off bike and possible getting hit by oncoming traffic..this can cause a car accident resulting in serious injury and most likely death on a motorcycle. It renders the vehicle almost uncontrollable.contacted suzuki and they said this problem has not been an issue and they have not heard of it. I told theperson on the phone that there is a site that has hundreds of accounts of this issue and he said that we sell thousands of these bikes and we haven't heard of this problem and he can not go by what's put on the internet. I suggest we all call suzuki and give the vin numbers and make this a real issue.
I have a 2007 suzuki boulevard m109r and it is leaking from the left side air filter box onto the bike. Also i hear a knocking noise when accelerating. Also my rear and front rotors are squealing.
Oil is leaking into my airbox an i cant get suzuki to fix it.
I have been smelling coolant for the past few weeks on my motorcycle. I really never thought much about it just thought it was something else or another vehicle since my bike is only one year old. I checked the overflow tank today and it is empty. I got online and looked up my specific bike and found many owners having the same problem and having to pay to get this fixed themselves or fixing it themselves. I think this is too premature for a problem of this type and should be recalled. Other owners have gas leaks listed as well. I have not had gas leaks with my bike but, now i am afraid to ride it like i used to.please look into this and try to get us some help from the manufacturer.
New vehicle (700 miles) leaking coolant from both the radiator cap and one of the cooling system connecting hoses.
While waiting at a red light. I smelled coolant which i assume was coming from the car in front of me. I continued to smell coolant whenever i came to a stop.i arrived home and checked for any visible leaks and did not find any.a week later when i was washing my m109r i noticed coolant residue on the starter.i called to make an appointment to have the bike check.i was informed by the dealer that they have a lot of m109rs coming in for coolant leaks.why is this not a recall?

My suzuki m109r leaks oil from the left hand side air filter. The dealer said it was over filled and he has checked the level twice and still it leaks. It is unsafe because the oil is going everywhere.
Have a suzuki m109r, oil leaks out of left air cleaner and sprays down the side of the motorcycle. Read up on this said it was because dealer overfilled the oil. Will be contacting dealer.
The contact owns a 2007 suzuki vzr1800.after riding 300 miles at approximately 60 mph, the contact noticed oil leaking all over the engine and the tires.he took the vehicle to the dealer and they stated that the oil tank must have been overfilled.they refused to repair the vehicle and it currently remains unrepaired.the failure mileage was 300 and current mileage was 699.
I have a brand new (suzuki m109) i take care of this bike like a baby on time services, no speeding trying to take good care of it because me and my lady felt in love with it, after 4 months of use and several trips to the shop the transmission goes, take it to the dealer a week later they tell me that the 2nd gear fork is bent and there's going to be a charge of $2,500 on the owner and i said how can it be possible when is a brand new bike they said there's no defect on the parts that it was the owner mishandling it, i said no way , not even the corp is going to take care of this problem? so i call some people and got to fill out a consumer protection form and we got a hearing coming soon. Last time i talk to the dealer they said come and get it in a box and i said i dint pay $13,000 for a bike in a box the bike is in the dealer since 10/2007 so i hope this info could help me and other people that are having the same problems with the same bikes....go to www.m109riders.com, and click on shop talk thank you for all your help.

2007 suzuki m109r (vzr1800) leafter shifting into 2nd gear, and accelerating, the motorcycle seems to be missing the gear or slipping the gear.this causes the motorcycle to shake violently and cause the rider to almost lose control.after doing research, this seems to be a known issue with these bikes for having faulty shift forks.suzuki needs to step up and fix this issue as this can be extremely dangerous.
The contact's wife owns a 2007 suzuki vzr1800k7 motorcycle. While driving 35 mph, the gear intermittently shifted from first into second gear, and then downshifted into neutral without warning. The motorcycle was taken to sysco houston (10710 greens crossing blvd, houston, tx 77038, (713) 672-8080) where it was diagnosed that the gear was stuck and needed to be loosened. The motorcycle was repaired, but the failure recurred multiple times. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 30,000.
When you shift into 2nd gear and accelerate hard it feels like it skips and shutter hard intermittently.it doesnt do it everytime.scary feeling.i usually shift into 1st into 3rd without accelerating in second if possible.i cant believe suzuki being a prominent bike company has not corrected this problem. I wish i had read up more on the thousands of threads about this same type problem with this bike before i purchase
2007 suzuki m109r transmission failure. Second gear pops out when the throttle is about 4000+ rpm and slams back into gear. The result is a bent shift fork and rounded off gear engagement tangs (dogs). Removed the engine and transmission on my own, and replaced suspected problem parts in the transmission such as: shift forks (to updated part numbers), shift fork shafts (to solid 14mm 4140 steel rods), unercut or backcut the gears by 5 degrees (to allow positive engagement of the dogs without slipping apart). The backcutting alone could be the sole fix for suzuki, if they produced these parts like this (5 degree cut) from the factory, and solid shift shafts prevent warpage to occur and the shift forks to positively engage the dogs. Although the bike was out of warranty, and research shows that suzuki is very reluctant to even admit this is a problem, it is dangerous and costly for the owners..
Clutch shudder.
The contact owns a 2007 suzuki vzr1800. While driving various speeds, the second gear slipped into the neutral position. The contact stated that the failure occurred on more than one occasion. The vehicle was taken to all ohio motorsports (23361 aurora rd, cleveland, oh 44146, (440) 786- 2230) where it was diagnosed that the second gear needed to be replaced within the transmission. The contact stated that the vehicle was in the process of being repaired by the dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 22,000.
While riding my suzuki m109 motorcycle the clutch would not engage. As i squeeze the clutch the bike just jerk forward and cut off. There was tension on the cable but the clutch will not engage. Hear a spinning sound coming from the right side. This has happen to great number of bikes. It appear that the tube nut in the clutch came loose this is a internal nut that is not serviceable. Its apparent that this safety issue is caused by the manufacture. I own this bike for one year and 24 days and have 5400 miles on it. If you look at the m109riders.com web sit you will see how many people had this safety concern. If i did not get off the highway in time i would not be writing this complain please have suzuki do a safety recall before someone dies from this failure. Thanks you.
I have a 2007 suzuki m109r motorcycle.the clutch chatters when engaging into gear & pulling off from a stop.this is very dangerous because in traffic, the bike will buck wildly as you try to pull off.this issue was brought up to my dealer but he says the bike is supposed to do this because of the high torque motor.i do not believe this.i believe the clutch is designed poorly. I also had a problem with my rear brake rotor as it came very loose & would make a screeching sound as i applied the brakes.the dealer also said this is normal & that nothing was wrong with it.after arguing & being persisted.they replaced the rotor under warranty but did not give me any paperwork on the work that was done.
Clutch shudders violently when engaging first gear causing loss of forward motion and endangering rider safety.this is a recurring problem.
The contact owns a 2007 suzuki vzr1800k7 (na). The contact stated that the vehicle hesitated while shifting into second gear and when accelerating. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the transmission was defective and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000.
Just like other drivers, 2nd gear would drop to neutral and when suzuki repair the warranted bike, they took almost 6 months to fix it and it happen 3 more time within the next 4 years and less than 20,00 miles...along with the clutch going out 3 times and a broken swingarm the bike has been grounded longer than it's been on the road...
The contact owns a 2007 suzuki vzr 1800. The contact stated that the motorcycle would drop out of gear and he was unable to shift into second gear. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who stated that the motor was too powerful for the gear box and caused the failure. As a result, the gear box needed to be upgraded. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, but offered no assistance because the vehicle was not included in any recalls. The motorcycle was not repaired. The failure and current mileages were 6,200.updated 09/01/2011
Was on my 2007 suzuki m109r and sitting at a light i was making a left hand turn after light turned green.as i made the turn i went to shift into second gear and it went into second gear then slipped back into neutral causing me to lose my concentration and almost hitting car next to me.i am a member of the m109rider message board and have found this is a very common problem with this motorcyclehttp://www.m109riders.com/forums/search.php?searchid=865572this is a serious safety issue due to it happens when a rider is starting to accelerate (possibly like me in a turn or merging into traffic)and is likely to eventually cause either a serious accident with injuries or possibly death.
Was stopped at a red light. When light turned green i went to first gear then second. While trying to go to third it slipped out of gear and a car hit me from behind.
Brand new motorcycle with 500 miles on it.clutch or tranny is not right.dealer says it's fine, but it shifts like a mack truck.rear brake rotor is so loose, it almost wiggles a quarter of an inch either way.still battling suzuki, or at least my dealer over the shifting and rear brake problem.
Major loss of power to the ground. Mainly in second gear if i open the throttle to anything above say 20% twist of the wrist the rpms go up but bike wont gain speed while already driving. Clutch does not show signs of burning up and all seems normal there. Ive adjusted it per suzuki's manual and followed their updated method via service bulletin the next time i made adjustment. In all gears i get this slipping sensation too where the motorcycle feel like its dragging or not picking up speed along with the rpms whenever i try to use some of the bikes strong power while already driving on the highway. This potentially can put me into a dangerous situation where i cannot pickup speed to avoid another vehicle need be and plus it just plain old takes the confidence and fun out of riding this machine i spent a lot of hard earned money on. Shifting into second gear is rough and difficult at times. I always shift in low rpm (4k rpm) and ease on throttle for all gears to not abuse it. The gear indicator i had installed no longer senses what gear i am in more times than not. I suspect the shift fork for second gear along with the gear itself to be badly engineered after gather info about this issue on the m109ers.com forum. Thinking the secondary drive might be worn out when i don't abuse this bike. This bike has also had a terrible "stutter" in first gear when driving from a stand still that i noticed goes away when you park the bike with the handle bars turned to the right to stand up the bike more upright (more oil gets to the clutch stack) 24000 miles on the odometer, this is the third bike i have ever purchased out of the 5 in my lifetime. Will be filing a complaint again once i have more info and documentation.

Transmission often fails to shift properly in first and second gears.there is also excessive vibration through entire motorcycle when power is applied at certain rpm's.
The contact owns a 2007 suzuki vzr1800 motorcycle. While driving approximately 35 mph, the contact noticed that after shifting in gear and depressing the accelerator pedal, the motorcycle lunged forward. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer who was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was taken to the dealer nine times for the identical failure. The dealer previously replaced the clutch which did not correct the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 500. The current mileage was approximately 6,300.
Purchased a 2007 motorcycle suzuki m109r and noticed a "clanking" noise in the clutch area.other noted problem is when using the back brake a scratching noise is heard.after reading the m109r blog, several individuals have had the same problem.
Clutch engagement issues with new suzuki m109r.
Rear rotor failure( replaced at my expense)clutch problems( dealer says they will not warranty).
Clutch problem.starting out if the revs. Are around 3000rmp the bike will shake and buck and the rear wheel will hope until the clutch is pulled back in.it hasn't caused me to lose control yet, but it's only a matter of time.
Defective clutch that causes unsafe vehicle response when starting the vehicle in motion from a stopped position. Clutch vibrates violently and causes the vehicle to jerk or lurch forward or kills the engine.
Harsh vibration of motorcycle drive line and noise in clutch area through all gears at approximately 2800 rpm to 4200 rpm and especially during incline climbing on interstate highways when engine rpm is increased to pickup added load from incline. There is also a noise during idle with clutch released and in neutral coming from clutch housing area.
The clutch vibrates dangerously in the 3000rpm range. It makes the entire rear end of the motorcycle feel unstable while this is happening.
Clutch vibrates tremendously and feels unsafe.
If you bring rpms to 3000 rpm the bike jumps violently feels like it is going explode it does any time you are going to get in to the flow of traffic in hurry i am bringing it to the shop to see what happens.
Clutch shudders violently when engaging first gear causing loss of forward motion and endangering rider safety.this is a recurring problem.
Clutch violently shutters and make the motorcycle stall. When stopped at a light the bike wants to take off by itself. This happen almost everytime. Suzuki claims it never happens, but is now a very common complaint among owners.

It's been two weeks since i took my bike to the dealer for the fuel rail recall and since then i've experienced the "clutch judder/rear wheel jump when releasing clutch" twice!and last night i'm at a stop light in 1st gear.i take off and try to shift into 2nd gear with no luck.the shifter was stuck in 1st gear!luckily i was in the far right lane so i pulled over and hit the kill switch.i tried everything i could think of to get the bike into neutral, i rocked it back and forth and still couldn't get it out of 1st gear.so i pulled in the clutch and started the bike.with the clutch still pulled in the bike starts to move!so i hit the kill switch again.finally, i decided to drive it in 1st gear and get off the side of the road.so i started the bike in 1st gear, eased off the clutch and rode about a block to a parking lot.while in the parking lot i was finally able to get the bike into neutral.once that happened it seemed to be shifting fine.so i headed back home which was about 7-8 miles away.it shifted fine and drove fine all the way home.i pulled into my driveway and hit my garage door opener and pulled into the garage.pulled in the clutch and tried to shift into neutral and it's stuck again! well, it turns out my clutch hub nut backed off.the dealer said that the plates were not damaged and that they were waiting on a new nut and basket from suzuki.i asked him if this was something that i have to look forward to every 3500 miles and he said that he thinks the hub nuts were not tightened properly when originally assembled.
I have a vzr 1800 2007 model suzuki and have had clutch problems starting at 10000mi had a mechanic check it and says it had oil trouble causing trouble such as shudder and grabbing i called a dealer about this problem and they said they have never heard it and was no recalls but i have heard of several complaints about this on m109riders forum (i mean lots).

My 2007 suzukim109r when i take off when. I have had to react fast i let out the clutch and the bike has had a violent shake and bang rumble and at an idle you can here alot of clutch noise you pull the clutch in and it gets quiet.
I am the owner of a beautiful 2007 m109r suzuki motorcycle. The motorcycle's transmission has been a constant source of issues from the date i purchased the vehicle. I experience clutch "shudder" where the entire clutch basket skips and forces the motorcycle to shake violently until you re-engage the clutch. The shift from 1st to 2nd gear never goes smoothly, several times the motorcycle has shifted out of second upon acceleration, nearly causing a collision with a suv while i was trying to merge into traffic just last week. The "tube nut" on the clutch hub came loose from the factory assembly on this motorcycle, causing the clutch to lock up and fully engage the motor. I am a former msf instructor, i've owned several motorcycles in the past 10 years with many many miles in the saddle. This a dangerous and unacceptable condition for any motorcyclist. Furthermore, these issues are not being caused by abuse of the motorcycle, this is exactly what suzuki claims is responsible for the issue, not the weak engineering behind the transmission.
Clutch shakes the bike almost out of control & rear brakes are failing to stop proper.
Clutch shudders violently when engaging first gear causing loss of forward motion and endangering rider safety.this is a recurring problem.
I have had numerous issues with my clutch shuttering from day one. I took it to my dealer and they adjusted the cable and told me it was a "slipper clutch" to keep me from wheeling. I later found out that was a lie. I took it to another dealer to do my first service and complete a recall. I had them address the shutter issue and they stated it was normal, although my clutch was adjusted a little loose.we relocated to caand i took my bike in for it's 2nd service and mentioned the clutch shutter again, and they have had many complaints but suzuki says it's normal. 3 months after that i was leaving workgetting on the freeway and my bike had a very harsh shutter then did it again going into 3rd gear. Next thing i know i'm going 60mph and my clutch cable broke. I have ridden bikes for over 25 years and i have never had this type of issue with any bike. I have read up on many suzuki owners forums and apparently this is a very common problem.suzuki in australia has determined the clutch hub is the problem not allowing enough oil to lube the clutch disc.they also have a ongoing recall to repair the problem.
The motorcycle transmission will jump out of second gear into neutral when accelerating.
When i let out my clutch lever the bike jumps up and down and does not go forward this has happens about every 4 times that i let out on the clutch.
Transmission popping out of second and sometimes 3rd gear. Happens very often and grinds in most gears. I have had to dealership and was told by service advisor that my cable was adjusted properly and it's a normal characteristic of my bike.after visiting forums it seems to be an ongoing problem.
I purchase a suzukivzr 1800 aug 21 2007,and the transmission have fail. I have had a grind an a clunk. From day one. I took bike back an complain clutch was adjusted. Bike still have the same problem. I complain about the hardshifting. An was told that was the way that bike shift. Now 8,000 mile transmission has gone out.
Subject is my and others 2007 suzuki boulevard 109 motorcycle, 2nd gear defect/failure.i went on the website of m109riders.com and discovered that there are several of the same cases around the country and all of them are of the 2nd gear jumping out into the neutral position, which i hope doesn't result in some one getting killed or seriously hurt. Not too far from where i live, there is a suzuki dealership that has seen 7 of the same cases of what i'm experiencing come into there dealership and the mechanic says himself that suzuki is refusing to do a recall in fear of hurting their future sales of this new model because of the 2nd gear defective/ failure .i've put a forum on m109riders.com asking if any one else was experiencing the same thing i have been and i received an over whelming of emails and phone calls of angry and livid motorcycle owners of this particular motorcycle. I've received calls from all over the country about the 2nd gear jumping out of gear then into neutral position on this motorcycle, which is very dangerous for any one that experience this. The boulevard 109 from the years, 2006 1st model to 2009 is where the problem is coming from and i'm also being told that suzuki is with holding the release of the 2010 model because of this very problem. I hope that suzuki will do the most responsible thing, which is recall, these motorcycles before some one gets hurt or even worst killed. I'm blessed when my 2nd gear failed on me and that the driver of the truck that almost ran into me was a very experienced driver and swerved out the way of hitting me. We ( suzuki boulevard 109 owners ) all thank you for looking into this matter and we all hope that suzuki does the right thing...
I stopped for a signal light. The clutch on the motorcycle locked up and would not disengage. The motorcycle surged forward. I had to kill the engine by using the emergency kill switch. I had to have the motorcycle transported to the repair shop. After disassembly, it was determined that the tubular nut on the (gear assy., primary drive sku: 21100-48g00) had backed off. This allowed the primary gear to move preventing the clutch assembly from operating. I checked the internet an found that many people have experienced this problem. I was lucky that when mine locked up i was stopped and was able to kill power with the emergency switch. I was also lucky in that i was the first vehicle in line and didn't rear end anyone. If this had occurred when i was moving i could have had a serious accident. I called the suzuki technical help line asking for the torque spec for the tubular nut. Suzuki refused to give it to me. I was told that i had to buy a new assembly from a suzuki dealership. There is nothing wrong with the existing components other than they were not assembled properly. The tubular nut was not torqued properly. If i buy a new assembly what change has suzuki made to prevent the problem from occurring in the future. I want suzuki to cover the cost of this repair.
2007 suzuki m109r1. Clutch failure to engage - violent shutter when accelerating from standing start2. Rear brake rotor loose.
2007 suzuki m109r motorcycle.3500 miles, constant problems with clutch grabbing and gear engagement making bike difficult to ride safely.rear brake rotor loose with no way to tighten other than replacement.
The contact owns a 2007 suzuki vzr 1800 m109r. While driving the vehicle and shifting into second gear the vehicle changed gears without warning on it's own. The dealer stated that the gear shifting malfunction was caused by a hard shift. The vehicle has not been repaired due to the repair cost. The contact is concerned about the safety risks since the gears shifting at will could cause a crash to occur. The failure mileage was 14,000 and the current mileage was 14,800.
The contact owns a 2007 suzuki vzr1800 k7 motorcycle. The contact stated that the transition from first gear to second was unusually rough. The dealer stated that the rough shifting was normal and could provide no further assistance. The manufacturer was contacted and also advised him that the shifting was normal for his model vehicle. The failure mileage was 10,000.

Suzuki boulevard 2007, m109r.shifting gears becomes very difficult over time and then as it increases the gears then pop out of drive and lose the ability to engage . When driving on the highway it's especially dangerous to lose that function as i found , i was rear ended. This trying to place back in gear damages the clutch and universal and main drive gear.
2nd gear failing. Consequences for a serious accident with loss of life. Suzuki refuses to fix problem even with 5 year extended warranty.
-the contact owns a 2007 suzuki vzr 1800 motorcycle. The contact stated that while driving 45 mph the rear wheel locked up, which caused the vehicle to skid. Additionally the clutch assembly failed. The vehicle was towed to an authorized dealer for inspection. The technician concluded that the malfunctions were due to a manufacturer's defect, and transmission service repairs were performed. The failure mileage was 6,000. The current mileage was 13,000.
The contact owns a 2007 suzuki m109r (na).while driving in first gear from 0 to start and sometimes when in second gear, the clutch begins bumping, jumping, and vibrating violently.the contact called the dealer twice for this failure.on one occasion, the dealer test drove the vehicle, but could not duplicate the failure.the current mileage was 3,100 and failure mileage was 2,500.
2007 suzuki m109r motorcycle. 13,000 miles. While at red light bike abruptly jumps forward causing bike to fall over. With help got bike up, still doing same problem needed towed. Took to dealer found tube nut had came off of gear shaft and ruined clutches a $700.00 repair which i paid. After getting online i found out this is a problem many bikers have contacted american suzuki withthis problem but know recall or warranty was done. I contacted them and all they told me was i should have bought an extended warranty. Alot of good that would have done if i got hurt or killed. This is a severe safety problem and the dealer can not guarantee this from happening again. Suzuki should make thisa recall and should reimburse the people who have paid for this not knowing this is common in this bike. I am 57yrs old bought bike 2yrs ago so i am not driving around popping wheelies or beating this bike. The customer service person at suzuki told me there was nobody higher then her that i could speak too and said she never heard of this problem.
While downshifting the clutch "grabs" causing the rear wheel to skid, this occurs no matter how slowly or smoothly the clutch lever is released. I have adjusted the clutch lever/cable according to the service manual. This has been an ongoing random occurrence.
- the contact owns a 2007 aprilia sxv450 motorcycle. While driving 70 mph the contact heard a loud rattling sound coming from the engine. The vehicle popped out of gear, the contact down shifted to fourth gear, which caused the back wheel to lock. The back wheel unlocked, and then locked again. The dealer stated that the failure was due a lack of oil in the transmission. The dealer advised the contact that they would not cover the repair under warranty. The manufacturer's customer care department stated that if the dealer denied the claim that no one at the company would not be able to assist him. The vehicle currently has 830 miles.
2,000 miles on the motorcycle and the clutch is slipping.
2007 suzuki m109r le motorcycle 9300 miles 2nd gear popping out of gear when accelerating. Gear also slips while accelerating. This is due to a bent shift fork which is damaging the gear. Faulty manufacturing on the part of suzuki. Local dealer quoted around $3000 to repair. This could cause an accident or even death. Suzuki had superseded the faulty part with a new part number. This occurs everytime.
When releasing the clutch, the motorcycle begins to lurch and jump like it is a jack hammer causing a violent shake of the whole motorcycle.
The gear box in my brand new suzuki m109 with only 4,000 miles on it, failed.it shifted automatically from 2nd to neutral while i was riding!! the dealer and suzuki refused to repair it under my warranty, which is for unlimited miles, up to a year.i had the 2007 bike for only 6 months.
The contact owns a 2007 suzuki vzr1800.the clutch is jumping out of second gear and the contact hears clutch chatter.when the vehicle was taken to the dealer and stated that the failure was normal; however, the clutch was readjusted.the engine size was unknown.the current mileage was 12,465 and failure mileage was 11,000.
In may of '08 i brought the motorcycle to pick up oil for the 6000 km oil change.i informed the dealer that the rear disk was loose.did not have it replaced at this time because the movement was marginal.the dealer stated that if it got any worse we should look into it.checked the brake yesterday and realized that there is more movement forward and backward as well as side to side and up and down.suzuki has a new rotor that has a part number superseding the originally installed part number on the bike.this would either indicate that there was a problem which has not yet been addressed with the consumer or the problem is rare enough that there is no need.the dealer and i have contacted suzuki to place a warranty claim to have the rear brake rotor replaced.the rotor makes a piercing noise when the pedal is applied and has some vibration (possibly the cause of the noise).this is quite embarrassing.let's hope they replace the rotor.
My 2007 suzuki boulevard m109r has developed a loose rear brake rotor.this is a two piece rotor design that has a series of rivets connecting the inner rotor hub to the outer rotor braking surface.the rotor not only allows excessive lateral movement (along the axis of rotation), but also allows for rotational movement (about the axis of rotation) of approximately .050 inch.
Rear brake rotor issues 07 m109r le suzuki boulevard. Replaced under warranty.
Rear brake rotor rivets are really loose, and the rear brake rotor you can move it.
No incident yet. Loose rear brake rotor.
Rear back rotor failure due to defective stock rotor.
Rear rotor on my 2007 suzuki m109 became loose after 430 miles.this was under very easy driving conditions because was still breaking in the motor never got over 3500 rpm in these miles. Currently waiting for suzuki to get new part in to repair defective part.suzuki has a new part old part discontinued?should this be a recall issue?
2007 suzuki m109r1. Clutch failure to engage - violent shutter when accelerating from standing start2. Rear brake rotor loose.
I have a 2007 suzuki m109r motorcycle with 10,000 miles on it and have had a problem with rear brake disc rivets coming loose and have replaced it only to have the same problem again. Im afraid that some day they may fail completely.
2007 suzuki m109r motorcycle.3500 miles, constant problems with clutch grabbing and gear engagement making bike difficult to ride safely.rear brake rotor loose with no way to tighten other than replacement.
Rear brakes make noises like metal against metal and not stopping proper.
Common problem on the 2007 suzuki m109r. Rear rotor is falling apart. The rivets holding it together are failing. Haven't been to the dealer yet because my warranty has expired.
I have a 2007 suzuki boulevard m109r and it is leaking from the left side air filter box onto the bike. Also i hear a knocking noise when accelerating. Also my rear and front rotors are squealing.
Rear brake rotor on suzuki m109r 2007 is has some play and is getting worse.
Defective rear floating rotor on 2007 suzuki m109r. Press fittings that hold the 2-piece rotor together let go and cause orbital play in rotor contact, increasing brake distance, noise when braking and slippage under hard braking.
Rear brake rotor is a two part semi-floating disc brake rotor. Outer ring of rear brake rotor, where brake pads engage on the disc, has become progressively loose from the carrier unit over time. During the 7500 mile service the technician instructed me to warranty claim the rotor for replacement. Dealer has ordered part and told me that it would be covered under warranty. Please note that the replacement rotor is a different part number than what is on bike as delivered from the dealer for this model year. Is this because the manufacturer has noted some issues that are unknown to most owners of this model motorcycle?
Rear rotor is loose and unsafe, dealership has recommended that is be replaced and the bike is only 12 months old.
Rear rotor failure( replaced at my expense)clutch problems( dealer says they will not warranty).
