I was going to start driving and when i shifted into reverse the shift screen got all jumbled and made a loud clunking noise, then reversed and went into drive and the car would hardly drive at all the rpm's were close to 2500 and car hardly moving at first, thought it was the transmission itself and found out that it is the transmission range sensor by multiple people having the same issue.did not have the issue with it happening while driving yet but i have a kid to worry about!

So far, windshield wiper arm came loose and flopped around while driving in severe storm. Transmission makes a loud clunk when re accelerating at 5 and 20 mph. Windshield wiper arm was tightened, no prob. Since. Transmission still clunks and have had in to dealer 4 times already. They have replaced a control arm and a ball joint. Then had to take back to have steering wheel realigned due to their neglect. After that steering wheel made a clicking noise for about a week. Dealership claims they are unable to find the source of the clunk or to even re create it. It happens for me daily.next car completely shut off and steering wheel locked up at night while i was driving through a parking garage. Unable to steer car. Today, brakes acted like they weren't going to stop the car, sounded and felt like a spring that is being depressed and not able to compensate for the load. My main complaint, concern is that car will shut off in traffic and i will not be able to steer and will cause an accident. Also, that the clunking in transmission and is a design defect.

When my car is switched into reverse or drive, it will jerk very loudly then proceed to not switch into any gears higher than 3rd. Sometimes when i go into reverse, it will jerk and swing back quickly with little acceleration. It has continued for 5 months - looking online so many others are having this problem with this faulty piece of equipment.

Interior lights do not dim below half brightness.with the white face gauges on the verona this is very distracting at night.

I have had problems with my 2006 suzuki verona for the past 2 1/2 years.we have owned if for almost 3 1/2.we took it back to the dealer just a year after owning it complaining of a clunking noise.all they did was update the software on it.they would not fix it unless a light was on.it would not generate a code back then, according to the dealership.now 2 1/2 years later, they say the transmission range sensor is bad.after reading several forums, it sounds like this happens a lot on this type of car and suzuki's in general.it is scheduled for repair next tuesday.
