I have a 2005 suzuki verona and i had problems with the air bag one year after i got the car i had to have the air bag replace and as well as the gas cap replace several times to were it would make the engine light come on i took my car to have them check my air bag light and they said since it wasn;t under warranty i have to pay to have the air bag replace again . And i didn't feel that was right because it was an issue that they had already fixed.

1-airbag red warning light all way stay on.2-passenger airbag off yellow light all way stay on event my uncle seat on.(220lbs)

My mother was going out to pay a bill ,even that she was 80 with should not have happen. She was traveling down the road at 45 miles she ran off the side of the road and her car flip and ran in a tree the air bag never came out , we fill like if the air bag had of came out she would still be with us today . The loss is very upsetting . I would like someone to check on a recall for the airbag recall

Consumer 2005 verona air bagand check engine lights came on two weeks after purchase.***nara sensor was replaced, however the light came back on again. The radio was not working properly.

Air bag light is on. Per an independent auto repair shop, they've found the following recall:tsb # 36690-86210.my local suzuki dealer denies there's a recall. I need to get clarification in order to get the air bag repaired.

Problem with the anti-lock brakes. Brakes would shudder, make a loud noise and vibrated. Had to pump them to come to a complete stop. Coleman dealership (lawrenceville, nj 08648) claimed it was due to warped rotors. Replaced rotors brake pads and flushed brake system. Problem recurred immediately after leaving the dealership. Returned car to dealership on 6/08/2010. Dealership stated the problem was due to a broken sensor. Dealership replaced sensor under warranty, but problem with sensor recurred after 10 months and the anti-lock brakes do not work. Was told the brake failure was due to a broken sensor again. Car is unsafe to drive. Also, air bag light stays on continuously (told this would not affect air bag performance) but that it is an electrical problem.

Dt*:the contact statedthe airbag light illuminated without warning.the dealership determined the airbag connector needed to be cleaned due to corrosion.after the vehicle was returned from the dealer, the light illuminated again.the dealership concluded that the airbag sensor was faulty.

Recall on lightning, seat beat and airbag and electrical system.

My wife was traveling from home when her 2005 suzuki verona just started stalling and it cut off. It cut off without notice or warning. She attempted to restart car and when doing so the car did not start.then she tried again it started and drove it back home with the airbag light on and service engine light illuminated. I then had the spark plugs replaced and fixed the corroded battery terminal. I drove the car on 10/29/2014 at 2:00am in the morning headed to work and it was just hard to accelerate then it would surge, the rpms would get really high and the car would act as though it wants to cut off!there is a recall on the lights of these vehicles but they haven't had them sent or requested to be fixed.i have read where there is no fixing to these cars and that us owners of these cars are all having the same issue and some have had fatalities. To gm and other manufacturers of these cars, you know these cars need to be recalled and given the full value of the car when purchased or half of it and as the family of fatalities, there needs to be the full value of purchase and funeral burial expenses. My heart goes out to those families who lost love ones and to those who are scared to drive this car and can't really afford another, i would advise against driving it if you can if you must be careful because it can cutoff without warning or notice and cause injury. I don't let my wife drive it anymore because if it had been her injured i would be seeking a lawsuit against suzuki, gm, or whom responsible.

2005 suzuki verona driver and passenger side airbag warning light illuminated continuously. Mechanic was never able to repair problem. Vehicle made noise while applying brakes, and cruise control did not work. The air bag malfunction was due to a loose connection, and the cruise control malfunction was due to a problem with the brake light switch.the problem with the air bag light resurfaced again, and the dealer stated the problem was the front seat harness.the third time the air bag light illuminated, the consumer was told it was the air bag assembly. The brake noise was due to warped rotors.

I've owned my car since feb 2006 and it has went into the shop going on 6 times for the airbags not working.

I rear ended a completely stopped vehicle doing approximately 45mph.my head hit the steering wheel and then the windshield causing me to suffer a laceration of my eye, multiple facial bruising, concussion, temporarily knocked out, when i woke up i was paralyzed from the waist up for approximately 15 minutes.my air bags did not deploy.this crash is as frontal of a crash as you can get and iassure you the speed was 40-45 and that the collision was severe.. The suzuki manual says airbags will deploy on frontal or near frontal collisions at 9mph --13mpg if you hit something that wont move, but if you hit a parked car the airbags require you to be slightly over that for air bag deployment. I researched this and suzuki recalled 5 models in 2005 for defective airbags, 2 models in another country were recalled due to faulty airbags.the (2004) verona failed its crash test due to faulty airbags. It is my contention that due to horrifically low sales of this model, suzuki felt that it would becheaper to litigated accidents then to recall this vehicle.so in this instance they will have their chance to litigate!!

From a full stop i stepped on the accelerator to get up to 40 miles an hour then loose power, speed drops down to 20 to 25 miles and hour and then the engine light starts flashing. Power returns and engine light stops flashing and stays on. This has happen dozens of times and i have take it in to the dealer to be repaired today will be the 4th time for the same thing. I have stopped driving it on the hwy because i was almost hit by a truck when entering hwy and lost power. Since researching this vehicle i have found two others with the same make model and year with the same problems.

The car in question 2005suzuki verona stalls whenslowing down or coming to a complete stop, some time it start right up, some time it doesn't. While driving home the abs light come on. I returned to dealer and was told that they needed to order a part for the hub on the car. It had to be ordered.

I just purchased a 2005 suzuki verona 5 months ago, and it was the biggest mistake of my life.i'll be on the road and all of a sudden the car will hold back (stall) and drop to less than 20 miles per hour.i've also taken the car to the dealer over 6 times because my check engine light will not come off, and they have yet to fix that.they've put in new sensors twice, flushed the computer various times, and the problem still persists.if this doesn't get fixed my car won't even pass inspection to get my plates and it doesn't even have 20,000 miles on it yet.

On or about july 26, 2005, dr. ____purchased a 2005 suzuki verona ex from the suzuki depot.since that time, the vehicle has undergone a multitude of problems, many of which suzuki has been unable or unwilling to fix.since its purchase eleven months ago, the vehicle has exhibited air conditioning problems, car seat warmer problems, car door problems, recurring engine light problems and, most recently, shaking and lurching issues which have rendered the vehicle unsafe to operate.over the course of the past several months, the vehicle's engine light has been enlightened on a consistent basis.when dr. ____first brought the vehicle in for service, the service department diagnosed a engine throttle problem.unfortunately, repairs proved ineffective and the problems quickly resurfaced causing dr. ____ to return the vehicle for repair on two additional occasions.willing to give suzuki yet another chance, on may 30, 2006, dr. _____ brought the vehicle in for the fourth time as the engine light continued to turn on and off intermittently.what did happen was that the engine issues persisted, causing dr. ______to bring his vehicle to the service department for a fifth time on june 6, 2006, at which time he spoke to service manager johnny viera.over the course of the past several weeks, dr. _______ has continued to drive the vehicle notwithstanding the engine related problems.now, however, the vehicle jerks and shakes when driven rendering it potentially unsafe to operate.frankly, we believe enough is enough and are no longer interested in wasting dr. ______'s time while ineffectual repair attempts are made.the vehicle, quite clearly, can only be considered a "lemon" and demand is hereby made that suzuki take possession of the vehicle and refund the full purchase price and all associated costs to dr. ____.

I purchased the 2004 suzuki verona last year from a third party. The engine stalls in the middle of the street. It completely stops. Last year it stopped completely and would not turn on. Luckily no cars were behind me. I had to call the tow truck and fix it. The problem was with the fuel injection.i went online and checked for recall. Immediately after purchasing the 2005 verona in april 2012, from a local used car dealership, we started having problems.the check engine light came on within a day or two, the airbag and tire pressure warning lights also came on.the dealer kept telling us they could not find anything wrong to cause the engine light to come on.one mechanic finally said it was just the gas cap not being tight enough.this dealer said that they could not determine why the airbag and tire pressure lights were on.the car began hesitating when trying to accelerate and would almost stall.this would happen without warning. At times, it would not even start.after several months of this, i took it to a suzuki dealer where they diagnosed it as a defective fuel pump.the car didn't even have 50,000 miles on it yet.at 75,000 miles i took it back to the suzuki dealer for service to see if they could diagnose the reason for the warning lights.they said the sensors were bad and needed to be replaced.there was also a problem with the transmission starting to go bad and the rear brakes were malfunctioning.the service advisor said that it would require $8400 in parts alone to try to repair the car.he said the car was not worth it and told me it would be better to spend the money on another car.he said that this model is known for all kinds of mechanical problems and they are not usually worth fixing.i believe that the suzuki verona is an unsafe vehicle that should have been recalled by the factory when these types of problems started to appear.i have gone on-line and read numerous similar accounts from other owners.they are afraid to drive the car, as am i, not knowing when it will stall again or break down without warning.this model is defective and not safe to drive.

The contact owns a 2005 suzuki verona. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle hesitated when shifting. Also, the contact stated that the vehicle failed to accelerate. The vehicle transmission was replaced three times, but the failure persisted. The failure mileage was 90,000. Updated 09/21/15.

When putting vehicle into reverse i hear a loud "clunk" and the r on the dashboard is all jumbled. When i put it into d there also is a loud "clink". The car accelerates real slow/hard. Does not shift out of first gear. I have had it checked and the code that comes up is p0705 - failed transmission range sensor. Have not been able to find anyone that will/can replace it due to the fact that they are having a hard time finding the part. Can someone give me some guidance on this. Very frustrated as this has been going on now for approximately 10 months. Really tired of sitting on the side of the highway waiting for the thing to reset or finally correct itself.

Transmission has had to be replaced 3 times in 2005 suzuki verona. Initial problem started 1 month after purchase (new), but dealership managed to replace several other parts first and finally consented to replace transmission 3 months after purchase date. 2nd replacement was exactly 4 years later at 68,000 miles. After transmission replaced, could hear strange sound from under hood and took it back to dealership. Dealer said it was "tire noise". One week later we are now getting a third transmission. Car starts to "hiccup" and once jarred hard enough to lock seat belts. Dealership has replaced parts under warranty, but has not addressed continuing problems such as shuddering breaks, air bag light that stays on continuously (told this would not affect air bag performance), peeling paint or hub caps that keep popping off.

Scott was traveling on a highway and attempted to exit the highway; however, as he attempted to brake, he noticed h was not slowing down, and that it appeared that his brakes has given out.he was able to safely slow down the vehicle and pull to the shoulder.he observed a small amount of smoke emanating from his vehicle.upon exiting the vehicle and opening the hood, he saw more smoke and flames between the engine and firewall.he advised his passenger to exit the vehicle.

Vehicle drives normal then brakes lock up causing tires to skid to sudden stop killing the engine at random times and random speeds then starts right back up then does it again at a random time.

The suzuki verona had brake failure numerous times. The first incident happened during the week of april 26, 2007. The brakes would not function and made a loud sound and vibrated. I had to pump on them to get the car to stop. The abs light came on at this time. I immediately took it to the repair shop, and they told me the brakes and rotors needed to be replaced.they replaced the brakes, but the abs light came on again. Next, i took it to the dealer who said that the abs sensor needed to be replaced, but that this was not the cause of the brakes not making the car stop. I was told that they) did not know why the brakes were not functioning properly. Since then, there have been numerous occurrences where the brakes wouldn't function properly, and in some cases didn't work when the brakes were pumped" either. At this point, i am afraid to drive the carbecause i feel an accident was inevitable.

Since then, there have been numerous occurrences where the brakes wouldn't function properly, and in some cases didn't work when the brakes were pumped" either. At this point, i am afraid to drive the carbecause i feel an accident was inevitable.
