There is a problem with oil leaking from the cylinder base gasket. *mr the oil leak problemwas repaired under warranty and started to leak again in the same location.(at the cylinder base gasket)there were problems with the starter clutch.the gasket had to be replaced twice to stop the leak due to a gasket design that had been improved.the dealer stated that the leak should stop and never return.(model-dr650se) *scc
Consumer purchased an added engine protector bar which were listed as suzuki genuine parts, while driving on the freeway, consumer heard a scraping noise, consumer then determined the top portion of the engine protector had become detached and had fallen foward, the bolt had sheered at the point where the bolt head meets the threaded section.

Suzuki. Consumer writes in regards to oem side stand failure. *ldthe consumer stated thesidestand failed to hold the vehicle up. The vehicle sustained damages from collapsing. The manufacturer was notified and maintained that the vehicle operated as designed. The consumer stated the failure was not visible from the pictures sent. The dealer refused to inspect the vehicle in person.
The contact owns a 2005 suzuki boulevard (na).while mounting the vehicle with another passenger, the foot pegs detached from the frame when the contact attempted to place his foot on the pegs.if the contact were driving at the time of the failure, a serious crash could have occurred.the manufacturer was unable to assist because the vehicle was three years old.the failure mileage was 17,500.
