Engine continually stalling and back firing.
Smoke coming from loose exhaust near right foot petal.
Fuel petcock (valve) started leaking resulting in possible fire hazard. Replaced part at owner's expense, dealer refused to replace.consumer said model is vs1400
Transmission sticks into gear.
While traveling at 45 mph, the rear license plate, light, mud flap, and license plate harness broke the steel mounts.the harness became wedged between the swingarm and the rear tire.the tire locked instantly and bike began to skid out of control until it crashed into a bank.
Front end vibrates.
Had tires replaced with brand new tires. Informed by dealership they would be slick. Was drivingtowards a corner to turn when motorcycle went from under thedriver due to slickness of tires. Contacted dealership & informed consumerthat tires were shipped with chemicals sprayed on them which caused them to be slick. Bridgestone tires 110x70x17 f150x60x17 r.
