The contact owns a 2009 suzuki sfv650 motorcycle. The contact received notification of nhtsa recall campaign id number: 11v108000 (electrical system:alternator/generator/regulator). The dealer was contacted and advised that the voltage regulator that was needed for the repair was not readily available and would be ordered. One month later, the contact was still awaiting the arrival of parts and stated that the recall remedy has extended beyond a reasonable amount of time. The dealer had yet to contact him in regards to the part becoming available and the vehicle was not yet repaired. The failure mileage was 1,304.
