Consumer complained the bolts that hold the flywheel were backing out. This can cause the engine to seize. Manufacturer was contacted, and stated that they would fix them, but consumerhad not heard anything from them. Consumer owned 40 motorcycles and 18 that they had checked had the same problem.an investigation found two vehicles in this fleet to be defective.the torque specified 13ft/lbs on 8mm bolts.the starter clutch bolts were not torqued.the threads were locked tight and re-torqued.in reference to the suzuki gz250k2/years 1999-2000. *sccthe starter clutch bolts were loose.
