Suzuki has recalled all 2012 through 2016 dl650 motorcycles for faulty charging stators. Recall 16v-878. See description of defect.the 2008 through 2011 suzuki dl650 motorcycles use the same charging stator as the 2012 through 2016 models and have experienced a high rate of failures.. The alternator was changed to a claimed 400 watt output model beginning with the 2008 model. Many failures, some multiple, have been reported on stromtrooper.com.
