Electrical system failure. Electrical system fails while riding and restarting the bike. I had no power after riding50 miles and stopping to refuel. I had just had a new battery installed. A new rectifier and stator was installed fall of 2015. This happened previously when iwas driving through a parking lot of a mall and the bike died. In the five years that i have owned this bike, i have installed three batteries d four sets of staters/ rectifiers. I am ready to get rid of the bike. I never know where i might be when the bike will die. This is the most unreliable bike i have ever owned.
I was riding along and the bike died on me.luckily i was at a traffic light and just began to start out in first gear when it died. I was coming back from a 150 mile trip and was 14 miles from home when it died. Tried jumping it but got no power. When the tow truck guy picked me up, he said it was my stator.
After riding for any amount of distance, once the bike is turned off (say for refueling) you go to start the bike and there is nothing, no power, no head lights, nothing at all...brand new battery checked all the wiring to make sure it was tight and not cracked or broke.this problem happens every once in awhile.afraid to take it out on any trip not knowing if i will make it home or not.
Stator and regulator rectifier failed at 18,780 miles.total charging system failure on 2006 c90 resulting in shutdown of motorcycle in traffic.
Purchased a 2006 suzuki c90t new in may 2006.in may of 2007 while riding up a city street, motor just died in the middle of high traffic.almost was hit by several vehicles pushing the motorcycle to the side.stator unit with signal generator failed.replaced under warranty at 11,500 miles approx.september 2008 with 26,000 miles, unit failed again after 250 mile ride.failed in parking garage fortunately.had it failed coming down steep grades with a passenger the day before, serious injury or even death might have occurred.head mechanic at suzuki dealership stated that this model motorcycle is extremely prone to failure with this part.spoken with several other people who own this model motorcycle and they too have experienced the problem with the motorcycle just dying while riding on freeways and city streets.
The contact owns a 2006 suzuki c90t (na).while driving in first gear at 5 mph, the engine made a popping sound and then shut off.the contact pushed the clutch in and the engine restarted.the vehicle has been to the repair shop five times.the contact spoke with suzuki and they stated that they would not repair the vehicle unless they were certain that a failure was present.the engine size, number of cylinders, transmission type, and powertrain were unknown.the current and failure mileages were 5,200.

I am reporting a defective part on the 2006 zuzuki c90t motercycle. The rear brake disc is built in two parts the inner mounting disc and the outer braking disc the two parts are revited together with eight large steel revites. After the use of one set of brake pads the disk is about too fall apart i discovered this while cleanning my cycle. If it had gone unnoticed and failed it could have resulted in serious injurey or death, i hope some one does'nt have to die before this is looked at.
Inferior steering head bearing issue. For a 2006 suzuki boulevard c90t (vl1500t).on deceleration between 40-35 mph, the handle bar consistently shakes violently from side to side. Appears to be failure of oem ball bearings. Needs new tapered roller bearings to cure this dangerous condition. This will be a significant cost to remove and repair the steering head bearings ($35 for bearings and $250 dealer labor). The dealer states as well as suzuki america, that "this wobble condition is a characteristic of the bike".i purchased this used motorcycle on 03/31/2012.the bike had 4899 miles on it at the time of purchase.the wobble was noticed almost immediately after purchase.the dealer would only agree to tighten the steering head bearings, which in turn only slightly helped the severe wobble issue.dealer advised of no cupping or wear problems with the tires.
