I bought my motorcycle a suzuki boulevard m10r limited 2011limited new onmarch 2012. The motorcycle has always shifted hard from first to second gear. On april 18, 2015 i was riding for about a hour everything was fine until i merged to a main highway and i noticed theloss of power at 55 mph .was stuck in the a center line where cars are going up 70 miles. I was attempting to pass a car but the bike was loosing power rapidly it was not going faster than 40 mph. I tried shifting up and starting having problems shifting . I was lucky to be able to pull to the side of the road . The motorcycleengine cutoff as soon i braked. I took the bike to the shop and they said the clutch and the clutch basket were gone due to loosening bolts. Searching the internet for the cause and i discovered similar complaints. When suzuki will fix the problem? this repair will cost me around $1500.00.
I bought my motorcycle march 2012. The motorcycle has always shifted hard from first to second gear. January 2013 i was riding and it started to loss power at 50 mph i also noticed antifreeze on the left side. I took it to the dealer, they fixed the antifreeze problem. Then they said the clutch lever was too tight so it was partially engaging the clutch. I had the bike less than a year and had not made any adjustment to the clutch. In july 2013 i was attempting to pass a car but the bike lost power and would not go faster than 50 mph. Luckily there was no on coming cars because i could not make the pass. I tried shifting down and starting having problems shifting at all. I had to pull off the road and turn the bike off and back on to get it in neutral. I took the bike to the shop and they said the clutch and the clutch basket were gone. The clutch is not covered under warranty and it's going to cost $1500. I think it could be defective material and it could be a safety issue.
The motorcycle is very hard to shift into 2nd gear. Took it to the dealer and they claim the clutch is adjusted correctly. I was even told by the dealer that it is common problem with the suzuki m109r clutch/transmission. Because of the shifting problem sometimes i am afraid that a car behind me will rear end me as it is so hard to shift from 1st into 2nd gear and than the motorcycle will slow down significantly. Searching the internet for solution i discovered hundreds if not thousands of similar complaints. Does somebody need to die before this is fixed?

2009 suzuki c109rt motorcycle shifts very hard and makes a very loud clunk as it goes into second gear. Often it is difficult to get it into gear. When down shifting, you often have to stop, let out the clutch and pull it in again to get the bike to downshift past second gear. Inability to shift may cause an accident.
2011 suzuki boulevard c50t. I have a hard time shifting, mostly from 3rd to 4th and 5th gear. You can't hear or feel it go into the next gear. Sometimes i have to force it to shift. If i come to a stop before i down shift into 1st gear i have a hard time getting into 1st gear. I have to pull the clutch in and out to get it to shift. Sometimes it will shift from 3rd to 1st by it's self when i pull the clutch in. This all started after the first 50 miles. I brought it back to the dealer for the 600 mile check up and they adjusted the clutch and said it was fine, and it was ok for the first 5 miles and then it just got worse all the way home. I have had a few near crashes in the past week and i am no longer driving it.
I bought 2 metzeler marathon me880 tires in march 2017 (300/35/18)(280/35/18). Both tires have less than 500 miles and are cracking at the sidewall. Cracks are on both sides and are getting deeper.both tires have a manufacturing date of 2015. Here is a link to a facebook page with many people having this same problem.https://www.facebook.com/groups/1871227146536817/thank you
