After vehicle was being towed behind consumer's rv it would not start, the consumer found out the only way the vehicle would start is when he removed the 2 fuses to preclude battery discharge.

Loss of engine power, service engine soon light comes on. Bad gas milage. I called saturn and they denied any recall.nhtsa recall # 03v231/gm.

The muffler developed a strss crack around the inlet weld.saturn finally agreed to pay for half of the replacement cost. *scc

Wheels must be rebalanced at 4 month intervals. Mechanic stated it was the firestone tires that caused the problem.transaxle - manufacturers defect as reported by the saturn mechanic.the transaxle was scored causing metal contamination throughout.

Vehicle would not go into reverse, vehicle taken to dealer, had the shift cable replaced. Passenger states this is a sl model, however vinassist states this is a lw2 model. Consumer states vehicle's steering wheel shakes or vibrates.

While waiting to turn left,another vehicle traveling at about 40 mph, rear ended conusmer, and front drivers seatbackreclined.consumer felt this should not have happened.

The vehicle revs up to a maximum of 2000rpms whenit is placed in park and in drive when the brake is released the car seems to drive as if it is out of control.problem is intermittent.

This is the 2nd time in seven months the power steering has had to be repaired on this car. At only 20,000 miles, i consider that to be unusual. Is this problem endemic in all sl200 or did i just get a lemon? ***dimsii ivoq entry posted after 12-12-02 cut over to artemis***761005

While driving 20 mph consumer lost steering control. Consumer managed to pull over, and had the vehicle towed. The dealership was notified, but did not resolve the problem.

Tire separated into three (3 ) parts. The two (2) sidewalls remaining on the rim, and the tread came off in one (1) piece. No punctures were visible in the inside of the tread. A loud noise was heard before the tire went flat. (tiresize: 195-65-25)( dot number:tire size: 195-65-25 )

Started to feel vibration at high speed 70+ arfter tyres had done 23k checked it out went to a tyre shopthe first time to get wheel balanced,they informed me the tyre was about to peel you could see the tyre was oval thats why we could feel the vibration,went to firestone dealer they disputaed the problem,went to another tyre shop they agreed the tyre was about to peel,went to the car dealer they replaced the tyre themselfs no problem,just yesterday 01/09/00 the other tyre has the same problem it went flat going back to the dealer today again. Consumer's wife was driving when she had a flat,and afterwardtire disintegraded.tire wasan affinity, p20565r15, it had only 9000 miles on it.

The design of driver side floor mat causing retards the release of the clutch and hinders the gas pedal from accelerating.yh

The problem is with the proximity of the gas pedal to the brake pedal. My foot continually gets caught between the gas and brake pedals because there is not enough room from the right side of the gas pedal to the left side of the center console. There is only a half inchin that area where most cars have well over two inches. Saturn forgot to carve out additional room in the center console for the top of the foot. I have contacted saturn twice and they are not concerned.
