The contact owns a 2009 saturn aura hybrid. While driving 15 mph, the brake pedal was depressed and the vehicle jerked. The braking distance increased and the service esc, service traction, and service vehicle warning lights illuminated. The failure recurred on numerous occasions. The vehicle was taken to a dealer who was unable to diagnose or repair the vehicle. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 110,000.
Possible leak in area of fuel tank, strong odor of gasoline, especially after driving for any length of time. I believe the seal between the fuel tank and the fuel pump is leaking.it appears to be the same problem with the saturn ion (recall number 12v459000).
