Takata recalli have a 2008 astra that is part of the takata airbag recall.detailsare at the end of this message.there currently is no information available regarding the developmentof a remedy, and when a remedy will be available for this vehicle.it is unsatisfactory to not have information on what is being doneto develop a remedy for this problem and when one can expecta remedy to be available.i am not willing to drive the vehicle until this problem is resolvedso i need additional information.there are statistics on the safercar.govwebsite about recall completionrates by manufacturer.according to this, gm has only repaired 0.2 % of recalled vehicles, while honda for example has completed over 48 %statistics regarding recalls.http://www.safercar.gov/rs/takata/takata-completion-rates.htmlrecall information on the saturn astrathe following recalls have been found for your 2008 saturn astra h'vin: 'results last updated: nov 09, 2016 recalls and/or programs for your vehicle in which repairs have not been completed are listed below.safety & non-compliance recallswhat's this? Takata recall (nhtsa recall number: 16v063) - my understanding is that older cars in humid environments will be given priority on replacement of defective airbags, especially those on the driver side.while i have a 2008 vehicle possessing a defective air bag on the driver's side and living in the humid environment of south louisiana, i'm still waiting a year later for the replacement of the air bag.i just called the gm recall line (1-800-972-8876) and was told no parts are available for the recall.however, i was told that if i have a problem with the air bag, the dealer has parts to fix the air bag, but at my cost.therefore, there are air bags available, but because they have not been specifically designated for use on the recall, i must drive an unsafe vehicle until parts for the recall are made available.it's unconscionable to think that parts are actually available, but not being used while lives are at stake just for sake of having parts available to fix issues not related to recall.when asked for a time frame of when the "recall air bags" would be available, i was told that they had no estimate, but that it takes time for these things to get done.i pointed out that i had waited one year.

Air bags failed to deploy.

I noticed the airbag recall was issued february 3rd and no fix has been issued yet (its been 8 months).i live in a humid climate and i am concerned about the driver airbag's condition since humid conditions increase the risk of failure.honda is quick with the recall, but since i have a saturn i believe gm is simply putting it off.

Several things are happening, first i received a recall letter stating i would be contacted concerning an air bag recall, i have never been contacted since that letter back in february 2016.secondly, today my car just completely shut off, after a few minutes i tried starting it and it did start. Thirdly, the trim on the roof has completely disappeared. I would appreciate information on when i can get my car serviced for the air bag recall repair as well as information on any other recalls that may be connected to the two other concerns i've mentioned. Thank you.[xxx]information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

I received the recall letter with recall gm id 28810 in march 2016 and as of today the issue has not been resolved. I tried calling multiple times the gm customer service phone but automated system would always respond as your saturn astra vehicle has no open recalls. I visited twice a gm chevy dealer and the people there told me they can't do anything about this. I insist my car to be fixed immediately since my family and i have been using it daily and this is threatening our safety.

Takara recall. I have a 2008 saturn astra xr that i recieved a recall letter from. Where do i contact to have the problem resolved?

Takata recallon 4-14-16 i received a recall notice from saturn with a date of march 2016. I called saturn and they told me there is no remedy. I asked to have my defective airbag removed. They called the dealer while i was on the phone and set up appointment on 4-19-16 at 9 am at hilton head automotive. The service manager at the dealer, michael culp, told me they could not remove my defective air bag because it would present a liability for gm. He stated that should my airbag deploy and injure or kill me, it would be a liability for takata and not them. I obtained a signed work order from service manager, michael culp saying that gm will not allow them to remove the air bag.he said they could take the car on trade as is and that they would resell to another person with the defective air bag. He said it is not illegal to resell. This is appalling to me. They advised that there is no remedy for my airbag and cannot say if or when a replacement air bag will be available. I want to keep my car and i want the air bag removed until they can reinstall a safe airbag.

Takata recalli received a notice february 2016 and still no word about this recall. I don't feel safe driving my car and it is my only method of transportation.please do something about this. Gm obviously does not care that people are driving ticking time bombs. This is unethical.nobody who owns a car and or paying for a car should endure this.

2008 saturn astra.consumer writes in regards to customer service does not have a resolution to repair airbag recall notice and refusal to provide a rental vehicle.

When is this "important safety recall" going to be taken care of.i don't appreciate driving a vehicle that i received notice of a recall almost 5 months ago and no word since from gm.don't tell me it's important then make a customer wait and wait for the issue to be resolved.i've called twice to the 800 number given on the recall notice and have had no resolution.when is this airbag going to be replaced??????????????????

Takata recall campaign id number 16v063.we got notified of the saturn astra recall in february of 2016, we got the letter stating the fix has arrived in april of 2017. That's 14 months of no word and driving an un-safe vehicle, that the recall notice itself says, " in the even of an infiltrator rupture, metal fragments could pass through the air bag cushion material, which may resulting in injury or death to vehicle occupants."it's fairly worrying that it took 12 months to get a part to customers that could end up killing people. But if i even scratch the paint of a leased car they will jump all over it in assessing a penalty. Ridiculous.

Takata recall; our daughter took her astra to multiple gm dealers with the letter from saturn and they all said parts are unavailable. Called the saturn customer assistance center and they said no parts unavailable and no idea when; they did open saturn case file 8-2581135415.

Gm recall notice #28810i received 3/16.my wife called gm service (800-553-6000) 7/16/16 - she was told no resolution, no parts available.she also spoke with andrew in the service dept. At hoselton chevy dealership, rochester, ny - no parts available.called gm service (800-553-6000) 12/20/16 - was told by anthony, no resolution until 12/31/16 on this recall. Gm asked for and received an extension for this recall from the government. I will be mail something by gm after 1/1/17.i want this car to be safe. I cannot afford to drive another car at this time. This should be fixed by now. It has been almost 9 months since i received the notice!

I heard of the air bag recall on the morning news a few months ago.i have owned this car since 2011 and i have not received any correspondence from gm at all.i have not received one bit of information even informing me of the recall.i have done my own research, and have seen that the recall is active, but there is still no solution and/or fix.i am not impressed by the fact that i haven't been notified by gm (or anyone for that matter), and that every day i get in my car, i risk being injured/killed due to the air faulty air bag.

2008 saturn astra.consumer writes in regards to the defective electronic module that controls both abs and stabilitrak systems.the dealer replaced the electronic brake control module, at a cost of $ 797.23.

I was parked at a shopping center, my car was parked and tried to start the car.it would not start and a young man gave me a boost only to still have car not start.i got back in the car and noticed that even though it was in park the display in front of the steering wheel showed the car to be in reverse.the next incident happened at my parents house where the car was parked and turned off but started rolling back.kids were getting out the car so i immediately pulled emergency brake.another incident happened at work car in parked position and car was still moving.it continues to happen. I noticed online there was a recall for the exact same problem in the saturn aura with its shift cable.i contacted the gm manufacturer, they only want to pay half of the cost to fix problem.this is a safety risk to my family and others.i sent emails to at least four executives at gm corporate office. It was diagnosed by a gm dealership as the shift cable, the same problem with the saturn aura.

I bought this 2008 saturn astra xr used in 2014 from a car dealership. Within a few weeks i began having problems starting the car.and it stalled while driving.i took it to many repair shops for diagnostics and repairs but after spending hundreds and then thousands of dollars replacing various parts and components it still continued having the same exact problems that all the genius mechanics couldn't figure out the cause. I suspect that the car dealership sold me a trade-in car that was involved in a water flood damage situation and all or most of the hidden wiring and electrical components were probably corroded and rusted.but none of the genius mechanics who worked on my car even suspected that all the problems with my car could've been caused by water flood damage.they just kept replacing many old parts with new parts and charging me lots of money.please help me find out or figure out if my car was involved in a water flood damage situation that is still causing these starting problems.it takes me 15 minutes to over an hour to start this car each time for all these years since i bought it used in 2014.today is friday 3-19-2021,thank you

The contact owns a 2008 saturn astra. While driving 15 mph, the vehicle did not accelerate when the accelerator pedal was depressed. The vehicle also made a loud noise, misfired, and the service engine light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the app sensor needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 150,000.

I'm writing to inquire about recalls on the 2008 saturn astra.from day one, the saturn astra i owned had problems due to an engine light frequently coming on and issues with the sensors. At one point, one of the cv boots went bad.the replacement required a new driveaxle, due to the problematic design of the car. That issue cost almost $500, even with the mechanic installing used parts. Then just a month later, the abs light started coming on as the right wheel sensor was bad. Again, due to the cars design, this meant not only a new sensor but a whole new wheel bearing at another $800.from what i have found online, this is a recurring problem with astras; also, as it disables the abs and traction control systems, it is a safety issue and thus warrants a recall for safety reasons. It seems clear, from the many similar complaints i have seen online [just go to www.saturnfans.com and put "sensors" in the search box to see tons of them - here's just 1 page from that site: http://www.saturnfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=169386 ] that the saturn astra should?ve been recalled. Without such a recall, it cost me more than $1300 dollars in repairs.if you look at all the similar related complaints on the saturn fans website i mentioned, i believe you will see that recalls on the saturn astra are warranted, due to these design flaws, safety issues, and sensor problems. Please let me know if you would like any further information or to see documentation of the repairs i had to have done on a car with just 68,000 miles on it, at the time, in a period of just a few months.thank you.

The contact owns a 2008 saturn astra. The contact stated that the horn was inoperable. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the contact was advised that the electronic control module for the horn failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired for the electronic control module. The failure recurred approximately one year later. The vehicle had not been inspected by a dealer nor repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure and the current mileages were approximately 76,900.

Original owner of a saturn astra 2008 xr with less than 40,000 miles. Car started losing power steering at low speeds (i.e. Turning from a stop, parallel parking, any movement that didn't require actively applying the accelerator such as backing up, slowing to take a curve, etc). Dealer states need to replace electric power steering motor and controller unit gear. Battery is at 35% and also needs replacing. No notice of low battery was shown on the dashboard. Last service (always at dealership) 12/31/13 they had to force the on-board computer to stop showing an engine problem code related to the intake system (p0068), as they couldn't find/replicate the indicated issue.gm says they won't cover this because of the age of the car, despite the low mileage and the fact that this is the same issue cited in various recalls since the beginning of 2014. They have, as of july 24, 2014, sixty different recalls covering almost 30 million cars. They have allowed extended warranties of 10 years or 100,000 miles to saturn ions for this problem and issued actual recalls for, among many others, saturn aura, sky, ion etc. For this and related problems.

To whom it may concern-i have had the pedal pressure sensor (in my 2008 saturn astra) replaced 5-6 times over the past few years.the car literally will lose all acceleration and cause the car to slow down very quickly and is a serious life threatening safety concern.previous times it has occurred i had to push my car off of the freeway and out of traffic.the recent experience was on 6/24/16 and i had my 2 week old son in the car seat.we almost were in a serious collision with a semi-truck because yet again the car lost acceleration and decreased speed drastically.my newborn son's life was threatened (as a semi-truck vs. A saturn astra is like an ant vs. A human) and now i am very angry.saturn and chevy should be held responsible and follow thru on a recall before this issue causes death or injury; or perhaps it already has.the chevy dealership in tempe refuses to address the concern and call me back.i took the saturn to this dealership while the car was under warranty to fix the pedal pressure several times.now that it is not under warranty i am completely ignored and all i have asked for is a phone number for corporate and/or for who exactly addresses life-threatening safety concerns (as chevy bought out saturn).all i have asked for is who to contact and what the next steps are to take and the dealership cannot even follow thru on this.how would you feel if you could not afford a new car and bought a complete piece of trash (overpaid) that threatens your life every 6 months? please..someone help.if you have children or even if you don't; whoever reads this should be empathetic to my huge concern with this death trap.

Takata recall. The contact owns a 2008 saturn astra. The contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 16v063000 (air bags). The parts were not available for the repair. The contact waited for months and was unable to determine when the manufacturer would supply the parts to the dealer. In addition, there was premature deterioration on the internal wiring associated with the rear passenger side door. The wires fractured and prevented the rear windows from staying up or down without warning. The contact had to make adjustments to ensure that the rear windows remained up. The dealer was notified of the electrical failure with the wires and indicated that it was not a safety concern. The manufacturer was contacted to determine when the parts would be supplied to the dealer. The failure mileage was not available. Vin tool confirms parts not available.

"takata recall" this car has electronic problems, dashboard lights blinking, gage hand's go up and down.the transmission shift cable broke.i was in a parking lot parked, started car went to put car in gear, gear shift was loose, wouldn't catch, called totruck,to pull car, was told by the driver, that the transmission shift cable was broken.

The horn on my vehicle does not operate, creating an extremely dangerous situation for the driver, as well as other vehicles and pedestrians on the road. This is a known problem, addressed by gm "special coverage 10276".unfortunately, that special coverage did not fix the problem, and gm implemented an extremely low mileage limit so it does not apply to many affected vehicles.this pervasive problem has been known by gm for years both in the usa (with the saturn astra) as well as the identical vauxhall astra and opel astra in europe.

2008 saturn astra xr 2dr, 5 speed manual, 98k miles.p2138 code and check engine light has repeatedly occurred, resulting in five replacement accelerator pedals to date, with a sixth pedal required.accelerator pedals have failed in as little as less than one week of operation, or as long as three years of operation.all pedal assemblies being replaced were oem dealer parts.wiring harness was inspected for water intrusion per tsb 07-06-04-019e, and determined to be a non-issue.as this is a manual transmission car, the first 1/3-1/2 of the accelerator pedal produces no acceleration, making proper clutch to engine rpm engagement extremely difficult and unsafe.addtionally, the car may or may not remain in reduced power mode while driving, which has resulted in the car going from part throttle to wide open throttle conditions with no additional driver input, creating multiple near-collisions.vehicle behavior due to this issue is erratic and unpredictable, and therefore extremely dangerous.issue does not appear to correlate with weather, temperature, terrain, time of operation, or any other cause.

Problem has occurred twice in four month period. On both occasions the vehicle was in motion going 30-40 mph. Without warning the assisted power steering ceased operation. In a matter of seconds, the steering wheel became stiff, difficult to turn, and the turning range significantly decreased. No warning lights appeared.on the first occasion, the vehicle was taken to an auto repair shop. No discernible issues were found. The mechanic checked all fuses and found no fault. The mechanic decided to replace a fully functioning fuse, which fixed the issue for approximately three and a half months. A few days ago, without warning, while driving under the same conditions as the first occurrence, the issue returned-power steering assist failed. The vehicle is currently in the shop again. The reason for the power steering failure remains unclear.

My car has shut off several times on its own even on highway 81 during peak traffic time i think this car should have been added to theignition switch recall i mean even shutting off once it should be on the list i reported this awhile back because it shut off and they said it wasn't on the recall list.it happened like 6 times already lucky my son knew what to do and didn't have a accident as of yet thanks god always happens while he is driving and loses all power when it shut off something needs to be done about thisignition switch on saturn and i don't think i should be the one to buy a new switch when its a gm problem this last time on 10/27 was during peak traffic time on highway 81

Vehicle horn is intermittently inoperable. I have had two near misses due to the non functioning horn. When it is not functioning, depressing the horn button turns the radio volume instead. At the same time the left steering wheel buttons are inoperable. Occasionally the radio volume will lower on its own, then return to normal. This problem is common oversees in the opel /vauxhall versions of the astra. Replacement of the wiring harness and cim module have only temporarily resolved the issues there. This issue has persisted on and off in my vehicle for several years.the condition exists while stationary and in motion. The car is mostly driven short trips in city traffic. The car is 8 years old, 52,000 miles.

When you put the car in reversethe lights light up on the gear shift, and will not engage. I then put the car in park and back in reverse. 2nd time i had an issue that car would not start even though it was in park, i someone try to jump it, thinking it was the battery, because i have gone through 5 batteries because of a short in the doors and also the relay for power locks.. When i put the car in nutral then the car could start and then i can drive it and 3 rd incident i parked the car, my daughter got out of the car and it went forward and she almost got hurt.i took it to my mechanic after the 2nd incident and was told it was the cable. I did research and say that gm recalled thousands of cars because of the cable defect. Saturn aura was recalled also for this issue. I contacted gm to see if they will pay for it, they said there is no recall. That i had to have gm dealer look at it, because they don't believe me. Once gm says it's the cable then they will decide if they will do a repair. Saturn astra needs to be recalled the cable replaced.

Bought car at 35000 miles now at 107000 and have replaced ignition coil pack 3 times. Misfires in 4th cylinder cause car to jerk and heave at highway speeds and run rough also fuel in plugs.

Takata recall, parts not available; passenger side outside mirror fell off while car was parked; fuel door will not unlock; air conditioner makes a squealing and rattling noise; car is slow to accelerate when air conditioner is on; occasionally unable to turn key in ignition because steering wheel locks up; one tire loses pressure and has to have air every week or two; repeated problems with loud exhaust. I am the original owner of the 2008 saturn astra and it has 48,600 miles. I started having trouble with the car after owning it for 4 years and have had both new and ongoing problems since.

I bought a 2008 saturn astra 4dr hatchback xe on march 26, 2008.on june 26th, the check engine light came on and i notice that when i step on the gas, the acceleration seems to be limited.i took the car to the dealership on 6/28/08, after the on-line diagnostics through on-staron 6/26indicated that there seems to be a malfunction code in the engine control system.the dealership downloaded new software and recommended that i monitor the next occurrence of the check engine light.i drove the car with no check engine light from the dealer on 6/28, 6/29, however on 6/30, around 9am, the check indicator light came on again.i brought it to the dealer on 7/2 in the morning.currently, they are diagnosing the vehicle.

The vehicle caught fire and burned beyond repair.i was driving the speed limit on a major highway. I heard a very loud thump under the hood.i pulled onto the shoulder to investigate, when a car pulled beside me and the driver told me that there were flames coming from the bottom of my car.the flames quickly grew and huge billows of black smoke impaired visibility of the people driving on the interstate.by the time the fire truck arrived, from the steering wheel forward, the car was largely ash and blackened metal.

Bought 08 astra jan 27, drove to az. Car drove fantastic. On 6/18/2008 i took it to saturn because i kept hearing a high pitch chirping noise upon acceleration. It only makes this sound if the ac is on. It sounds like the belt is loose the tech told me it was because the engine is not strong enough to handle the ac and everything else at one time. Like i said it did not do this when i bought. He told me to monitor the noise. It is still making sound along with a deep rattle also coming from the front of car.

When you have windshield wipers, defroster and head lights the electrical system will rest itself while driving.

Fuel door would not open(locks and unlocks with the regular doors). Researched the problem, and got the solution; in the trunk there is a small covered opening,on your right, turn the screw and it will open.there is a black wire, pull it and this will unlock the fuel door.

The vehicle was on a flat surface recently parked and turned off in the driveway and the transmission was in park when it started rolling backward. It was supposed to be in park and it acted like it was in reverse or in neutral.

Shifting from park to reverse (immediately after the car was started), all the lights on the prndl (automatic transmission gear position indicator) illuminated. Though moving the shift lever, the gear would not engage.this has happened twice to my husband and three times to me (street parked or in drive or parking lot). I also got out of the driveway but then couldn't get into drive gear. Wiggled the shifter, finally it clicked in. I also notice a lack of power when accelerating on to the highway, hear the engine lug (wonder if i am truly in the top drive gear). "same as your recall #12v46000 for the saturn aura...2008 saturn aura power train:automatic transmission:gear position indication (prndl) nhtsa campaign #12v460000 date announced: september 18, 2012 vehicles affected: 426,240 summary: general motors (gm) is recalling certain model year 2007-2010 saturn aura and model year 2008-2010 chevrolet malibu and pontiac g6 vehicles, equipped with a 4-speed automatic transmission. On these vehicles, the tabs on the transmission shift cable end may fracture and separate. "you need to recall saturn astras for the same reason. Plastic clips are deteriorating - accidents will happen. The car only has 47,000 miles on it, our only car. I no longer trust what gear i am in. Spoke with gmc yesterday on 11apr16 - they admitted that the same clips were used on prndl cable in the astra - just made at other factories "than the ones affected in the recall."i have an appt, at a local gmc dealer to have the problem diagnosed tomorrow 13apr16. Gmc is paying the first hour of diagnostics.we are going to be stuck paying out of pocket for what should be the responsibility of the car manufacturer. Gmc won't escalate my complaint until after the diagnosis. But you already have reports of the same issue from astra owners that mimic the ones in sister-cars. Please investigate.

The car only has 68,000 miles on it. The contact owns a 2008 saturn astra. When the contact switched the gear shifter into the drive position, the transmission indicator erroneously displayed that the shifter was in the drive #3 position. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. Big m chevrolet (704 n. Dixie blvd, radcliff, ky) was notified of the failure. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 37,000.

The prndl (automatic transmission gear position indicator) stopped functioning. Moving the shifter lever (located between the front seats) down or up produced no action although the car was stuck in the ?r? or reverse position as indicated by the cluster. Took car to a shop and they found that the end of shifter cable (located in the engine compartment) has completely eroded. Shop mechanic mentioned that this is a known issue and that saturn auras were recalled a while back for that exact issue. Why wasn't saturn astra? repair totaled over $300. I've owned several cars in my life but never had this happened. The car has only 58k miles on it.

Consequence: if the tabs were to fracture and separate, the shift lever and the actual position of the transmission gear may not match. The manufacturer was not notified. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the failure occurred every day for the past two weeks. The approximate failure mileage was 30,126.

When attempting to shift the vehicle from reverse to forward the shift lever went into position however when my wife stepped on the gas to go forward the vehicle was still in reverse. Apparently the shift cable failed and the vehicle could not change gears. She was left with a vehicle that was unsafe to drive thus had to be towed. I do not feel that the use of a plastic clip in such a key position is safe and thus should be reviewed.

Airbag deployed late causing me more injury for not functioning right.

Last spring i was driving down the street, and noticed that my passenger side mirror glass was missing. The glass lost the adhesion to the plastic backing.even with many reports in online forums, and with hundreds of sales of mirrors on ebay, both onstar and the dealership stated there were no service bulletins or recalls related to the issue. As if mirrors failing is normal wear and tear.instead of paying over $70 on a new mirror plus installation, i found a used one on ebay and replaced it myself.this past may, the driver's side mirror fell out, but thankfully i noticed it before it fell to the ground and was able to roll down my window to get it before it did. Again, onstar and the dealership said it is not a wide spread issue reported. The dealership provided me with some double sided tape to put the glass back on.this past saturday (july 12th, 2014), the replacement mirror glass started shaking, and after stopping to get it before it fell out, noticed it was hanging on by a very small amount of adhesive in one corner. I again obtained double sided tape to reinstall the glass. I again reported it to gm via onstar and the gm customer care center.side view mirrors are important safety items on vehicles, without them people may not be able to see around their vehicles when changing lanes, or backing out of a parking spot... Which could cause serious injury or death if another vehicle or person is in the way and not seen due to a failed mirror.

The driver was entering the vehicle and when the driver's side door was shut, the passenger side side mirror glass fell off and shattered.this left a black piece of metal where the mirror should have been.because the glass fell off so easily, this could have easily happened while on the roadfrom a gust of wind or a bump.if the glass had fallen off while driving and was not noticed, it could have caused an accident if one was needing to use the mirror for passing or merging.

The low tire pressure light would come on frequently and i have taken the vehicle in multiple times to the dealer. The dealer would say that there was no issue and they just put air into tire. This has been going on for years. This month i had to buy two new tires due to bulges and tires going flat. Aaa stated that the tire was leaking from the valve stem, which an online search has indicated this to be a common defect in the astra and there has been a service bulletin about the issue.

I have had a paid for multiple flex pipes as well as a catalytic converters repairsi was just informed the flex pipe is broken again. Early morning, parked in grocery store parking lot.finished shopping, loaded groceries in trunk, tried to start car...key did not even turn in lock at first.then all gear lights came on, but no engine start.tried several times.then i called aaa.they said it was not battery, but got it started by turning key to first position, stepped on brake, put gear in neutral, then turned key further to start.i then drove car to garage where they said it was probably a transmission switch problem.i am waiting to hear more specific details on what needs to be repaired and the cost.

Takata recall. Although i haven't had any issues (yet), i'm baffled as to why it's been a year and there still is no fix. If i were to be injured in an accident, you better believe there will be a lawsuit following. What is the status of the recall? i have had no follow up. I own a 2008 saturn astra 2 door. Thanks.

The vehicle will not register the correct gear on the shifter assembly display, shows park or all lighting indcators illuminate simulteaneously, impossible to determine exactly which gear it is actually in, most times reverse even though the indicator lights are not accurate.dealer recommends changing both the shifter assembly and cable at a cost of over $1300, car has less than 46000 miles.problem is intermittent, happens randomly without warning.

I was driving slowly through a parking lot when the passenger side mirror glass suddenly fell off and shattered.

I have a 2008 saturn astra. When entering a highway from a ramp, or punching to accelerate, the gas pedal on numerous occasions has stuck to the floor. By tapping ithas released but this has happened at least a dozen times in the last 3 months.

The contact owns a 2008 saturn astra. The contact was driving 60 mph when both the driver and passenger side mirrors detached from the vehicle suddenly.the manufacturer was notified of the failure who advised that each mirror would have to be reinstalled. There were no recalls for the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 42,000.

When you have windshield wipers, defroster and head lights the electrical system will rest itself while driving.
