The contact owns a 2000 safari zanzibar.while driving approximately 20 mph, the contact depressed the brake pedal and the vehicle failed to slow down.the contact smelled a burning odor coming from the brakes and the abs warning light illuminated on the instrument panel.the contact pulled off the road and observed excessive grease on the front passenger side rim.he also noticed loose wires underneath the vehicle.the vehicle was towed to an authorized dealer and they stated that the failure was related to the front and rear calipers, which overheated the brake system.the vehicle has not been repaired.the failure mileage was 36,200 and current mileage was 36,244.
